Alright, so I did the cafe mission to widen a body of a Corvette, I want to undo it though because I want to keep it standard, am I missing the way to un-widen it?

I went to the tuning shop and paid 60K to get a "new body" and assumed that would fix it but it didn't.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

probably bug. it supposed to be back to factory setting (as in description) after bought new body in tuning shop.

I try to buy two of a model so I can keep one close to stock & do all the bad things to the other one. Two Pontiacs today btw

SMARTEST ANSWER SEEN. Dummys are afraid of spending credits. I topped mine out at 115M then went on a birthday spree ! Got a Daytona Cobra for my PS4&PS5.

The description in GT Auto for the widebody specifically says that it cannot be undone.

I believe the new body just undoes things like weight reduction and increased rigidity.
The weight reduction and rigidity mods also specifically say that they can't be undone.

Is consistency too much to ask for in a AAA mainline console-specific title?

As someone had mentioned above, I would buy 2 of the same vehicle so I could do whatever I wanted to one and keep the other closer to stock with the exception of rims or a bumper change, side skirts and spoiler. But most races allow those parts and some wide bodies. So if it’s just a sleeper look or wanting to keep it original, then yeah I would get another and keep it stock. Good luck.
