How would you use your 15th anniversary cars.

I'm going to drive them in practice, but then try and stick to buying cars for my a-spec races... doesn't seem 'fair' to just whip out a ridiculous car for Sunday Cup races.

Are they in the Garage for free? Or are the Anniversary Cars extra to the Dealership and cost in game Credits?

They will stay in my garage until I either are forced to use them, or until I have finished the career. I have set a goal for myself, to do all the races I can do (to the extent its possible) with stricktly BMWs. Races like GT500 and the like, Ill have to settle to the closest thing I can get, like any brand which have collaborated with BMW/a designer who have worked for them both etc etc. Mabye tend to Nissan GT-R cars as I love them as well.

It's a hard challenge, and perhaps a bit weird, but it should keep me going a bit further, while driving the cars I love! Until I start racing online, or replaying races I have won, the bonus cars will sit steadily in the garage.

It will be hard for me NOT to use them right from the get go. Once I have completed a decent amount in the game, I will use them. I will mainly use them online, but I will keep them fully stock, no tune.

Keeping them wrapped in the original packaging.
Supposedly the pixels are worth more in mint condition.

Serious mode = on

I will probably use them when/if I get stuck/don't have a car that can handle a challenge.

I will stick to it, at least on my main account. I might be a bit more liberal on my secondary account though, just to see how easy and fast I can power though it, but BMW mode first :sly:

I find it interesting you want to go through the game using just BMWs. :S

I just love BMW's, and have owned several in my 22 year long life. I love how they are powerful, tailhappy high end cars, which looks like a run of the mill car unless you know them. Just my preference. I won't deny that almost every manufacturer in the world has their greats, and I do love all cars, but they just appeal to me in a way that most cars don't.

Once I am done with the primary career, I will start to explore every car the game has to offer, and I don't have any special brand "I hate" (as many might do, like aussies being either Holden or Ford guys, BMW vs. mercedes etc) so all cars will be driven sooner or later. I'm even going to start up a car review series when my copy unlocks from the PSN store.

Thats awesome. Too bad GT6 does not have the BMWs we wanted. That would be great for you especially.

Indeed. The lack of E30s, E39s and even the 3.0 CSL are a bit sad, but ow well, it will do. I do believe that I can do most races with BMWs though, starting from the 120i/d, all the way up to the M3 GTR race car and the McLaren F1 GTR. I think only the class specific races will give me the hard choices.

I am also exited to see if the power increase we have seen in some cars also apply to the beemers, mabye I can finally simulate the drifter me and some mates have put together and had on the track!

How do we know that once we enter the codes, we get them instantly?
Has anyone confirmed that they're added into the garage when entering the codes, or thay get added to the dealerships and that we buy them that way?

I'm going on the assumption that it will work as the GT5 DLC worked really. I have no confirmed way to know, but it seemes probable. If they are just added to the dealership, then I wouldn't mind, its just an added bonus, if I want a car with an awesome livery, and bragging rights.

If you look here and scroll past the pictures of the anniversary edition cars, you'll notice the specs of each car as well as the price. Does this indicate that we have to buy the cars?

P.S. I also believe this is how you access the special edition cars on Forza 5 (correct me if i'm wrong)

Yes, Forza have done this, but GT has done it differently in the past. I'm not saying you are wrong, but the prices might just be list prices, and that they are rebuyable though the dealership. They do say on that site that you will get 20 cars (for the special edition), not unlocked them.

Well, there is only 4 days left until release, so we will know for sure then. I wouldnt mind getting my hands on that Z8, Tesla, GT40 or any of the race cars from the start.

I will be using them for career mode. Once I've bought and sold the Honda Fit, I'll only use the anniversary cars in career mode. I will not buy any cars or use any prize cars for career unless I have to and I will only buy some cars once I reach the credit limit (if there is one) or I need to buy one for an event. I.e. NASCAR races

I looked at the wording of the GT6 offers, along with that of the GT5 Signature edition by comparison:
On GT5 (see here) it contained the chromelines and stealths and were worded as "in-game", and hence they were accessed immediately upon obtaining them.
However, it does not say that on GT6 (see here) that the Anniversary cars are "in-game", so maybe you're right (although it does say "1,000,000 in-game credits", so if you want to challenge yourself and start GT as default, don't bother using it until later :)).

I will just use that million to either buy cars for non-career use, or as an emergency aid if I get totally stuck with the BMWs. It's always good to have a backup. I might add a rule to myself, that if I use any of the 1,000,000, I much re-earn it before I can progress, so I don't use shortcuts.

Can someone please tell me why these cars will be nice to own besides collecting for the purpose of collecting? I'm currently settled on the standard edition of GT6 but I just want to make sure that I haven't missed some bargain related to these blue cars.

Fair enough ;)

Eh, I'm not as hyped about these cars as I was when they were first revealed. I might just use them for online racing.

I will get my Anniversary Edition copy on December 6th, and the first thing I'll do is, GET MY CARS!!!! Just like in New Year 2012 when I got GT5 Signature Edition. So, naturally, I'll get a great head start with cars like the Audi R18 and the Pagani Huayra. If you have to buy them seperately with credits, please let me know...

They will sit in my garage unused because I will not use them in career mode and online I only drive cars with unique paint jobs. Personally these cars do not look all that good aesthetically speaking. It also hurts that there are 25 different cars with the same paint job. The only thing that they have going for them in terms of paint jobs is that they are not chrome. Of course my assumption is that they are all going to come in the same color scheme: I hope I'm wrong.

I'll be using them straight away. (not overpowered cars for starter events though, that's just silly)

I didn't pay the extra money for them to just sit in my garage.

Well, it depends.
I assume (as it was this way with GT5) that the cars will be unlocked and added to the garage. This means you have 20 cars at your disposal that you don't have to grind for. The list covers quite a wide range of types and PP values, so it should be a nice addition.
If however they are just added to the garage and you have to buy them… well, then they have this nice blue color!!!!

tbh, I mostly got the 15th Anniversary Edition for the paints, GT racing suit and the custom avatars. However, there will be a million credits that I will not spend for a while and 25 cars that will either go into the stockyard or - occasionally - be used in Arcade or on-line because I do not feel the need to advance through the game faster than anyone else!
