maggiore makes absolutely no sense and is beyond of competitive racing, because the main opponent, Rubilar, sits in a rocket. i made an experiment and knocked him out on purpose, so he was on p7 and I am on p2. within 3 or 4 laps he gained everything back which cant be technically possible unless this car has extra power. the other missions where also ridicolous, but maggiore is peak frustration. i really dont know what the gt7 developers are thinking.

what do you mean with 30 lap speed? to finish 30 laps total in 1 hour?
Exactly that.
If you cant finish 30 laps in that time, you have no chance of winning that event.
And if you do pull of 30 laps, you are not guaranteed of winning, but will have overlapped quite a significant chunk of the AI field which is programmed to drive incredibly slow.
It just happens to be that the fast AI is driving on a higher level but not impossibly fast and definitly not cheating in any way, they simply dont slow down artificially.

yeah "cheating" was a bit emotional by me ^^, but still makes no fun and without community you would feel like you are doing something wrong. but its just pain in the a.. difficulty

I gave up on the Tsukuba mission a year ago. The A.I. were just too quick and powerful there, and you really can't tune your car to where you can get extra horsepower. Would be nice but that would be cheating the BoP system. I honestly don't get how they can get those lap times even in the rain or any weather conditions. Blows my mind and wraps my brain in a fog.

I played it around a view months ago with almost a minute gap to the second car. When I remember right, this was the mission where I managed the fuel almost in every corner.

We have a big thread on this specific event here:

If you don't want to read all that, get a car that can conserve fuel (Mazda RX-Vision responds well to short-shifting), use Racing Mediums, and pit on laps 10 and 20, taking on enough fuel for 10.5 laps each time.

thx - I race again today and will share my experience tomorrow in this thread.

Good luck mate, let us know how it goes and if possible, save the replay after you finish/win the endurance race.

A little bit OT maybe, but I always wonder how they came up with "The Human Comedy" for this. Is there is any connection to the movie/book?
It has to be, there's always a specific reason why PD chooses the titles for all the missions.
