Hybrid Problems-Need Help!!!

Attention All Hybrid Builders,
I just start'd buildin' up Hybrids... I'm currently using MkS latest version...because its very useful, except for one thing... After souping up my Hybrid... when I go for testing it in RUN and Setting... It will not run, only slowly move backwards. I review the .ini file and backtrack on my mistake, but GOSH-DARNET i can't find my PROBLEM. Am i Picking the wrong parts? or Am i putting too much into the ENGiNE, or what??? Please respond A.S.A.P... Thank you.

If U go into change settings, and go to the tranny, U should see there is nothing in the window there. Go down to the auto gearing and move it 1 click and the lines will appear. Now U should be all set.

On the Auto Gear setting, I got 38... and on the VCD i got 0... is that where the problem is at??? Oh yeah, what did you mean by on click. I'm guessing its at the right hand side of the bar, correct? And how would i change that value??? Thanx for responding "Heydu".

On your ini file lines 240-264 are reverse thru 6th gear and should be all different numbers. As far as the auto gearing just highlite the auto gearing window and hit the d pad to move the adjuster one click to the right or left. and the lines that represent the gears should move radically if they are even there at all now. If this doesn't work U can always open a different ini file that has the proper values for those lines, and copy and paste them to this one.

I Just start'd building hybrids. Yup, I'm a "newbee", and i was wondering what it was that i was doing wrong when building hybrids. Question: How many hybridz do i have to make to finally build one that will handle, drift, brake, and settings, grips, swapping, etc. etc... correctly? Everytime i build a hybrid, i something's always wrong... and everytime i test the car, the handling would be off... or the settings wrong...or the dforce, and even the braking... Please help me out? I really don't want to give up... especially now... since GT4 will be coming sooon'r than we think... Please respond back AsAp.

Well really all i can say is practice makes perfect. I try to stay no higher then 2500hp or so. DF, chassis, weight are pretty big factors. F1 tires work great but they kinda screw the look of the car. If your buildin a high hp car and dont want to use f1 tires then try editing you .ini file lines to

This will give car great handling and breaking. Here is one of my cars that uses this method and is pretty sweet. Other then df maybe grip sometimes, I do everything else in settings.

:burnout: :burnout: :burnout: Say "TOO-Cold" is there a place where i can check out these cars, rather than having to print them out on my printer... the process is long, because i have to get the car into my garage and w/my printout i have to type in all the numbers in... :loudmusic :loudmusic i appreciate all that you R doin' 4 me, so please don't get me wrong... I'm thinking there has got to be an easier process, like downloading the .ini files or the actually .gme save... This Is a link to the hybrid garage at GTH. Once there click on a file and download it to a folder, then in MK's use the import car button to put it in the garage. Also the ones that too cold has posted here, U can copy them and paste them to notepad, and save them as an ini file. Example cl600 F1Boat.ini. U should create a folder for all you r hybrids and save it there, then U can import it the same way.

Hey man, i was trying to hybrid a rally car that would drift just right around the corners, but i think that my set-up was off... is the grip on rally tyres adjustable? I know the question is kinda stupid 'cause i shouldn't set up a good grip value on rally, right? Or what do you think?
Oh yeah, can i have a rally car that you might have? As an example of how a rally-hybrid should be. Thanks man!!

Heydu... the Corolla Frick'n kick'd AZZ dude, and the Dirty, Oh so Dirty F094 was all the way TighT. What tire size are those? If i were to put them in a slammed Trueno, would the tire stick out of the body in height?... As for me, I'm still tryin' out that Rally-hybrid of mine. Thankx again Du... "Do the Dew" :cheeburga

Those both have Escudo tires on em I believe, I'm pretty sure they'd stick out of the body on a slammed car. I've been playing with your evo a bit, with not a lot of sucess, but swapping in the Escudo chassis seemed to help some.
