Ok, I'm going about making a hybrid for myself in Gran Turismo 3. But not just some regular old slow hybrid... I'm trying to make the best hybrid possible for the horsepower.
I wanted to try to catalogue my experiences with all the different engines for the sake of helping people in the future decide what to use. I want to first decide which engine has the best characteristics for the sake of getting the ultimate power plant.
I was thinking of getting a larger engine for the better low-end torque curve, and making sure it's an N/A for the sake of even acceleration throughout the rev-range. I would imagine that a larger engine like maybe from the Shelby Cobra or the GT-40 Race car would be perfect. If I got a smaller engine, like say the engine from a Civic, even with the same max horsepower and torque rating, the torque curve would be more even in those larger engines.
Recommend an engine that you think might be good... I'll test it out. I think the Viper engine might be the best in this case though.
