Hybrid Trading Thread: READ 1st POST!

All this talk of rims has me wondering. Say I have a Chrysler 300C and I want to put a set of custom rims that are available to a Lambo Murcielago (these really nice chrome ones, I forget the exact name). Would that be possible?

Renault Avantime F1 and Volkswagen Golf W12 are finished and are on share.
The Avantime is intended to be a close replica of the Espace F1, and it's a nice car to drive.
The Golf is almost too good a replica of the real thing, it's a pig in the corners. However I'm not going to tune it any further due to the realism.
I'm going to give the XJ220 Prototype and a V8 Caterham a go in a bit. Those will be shared later if and when they are ready.

One quick question If I swap the body on a car, does the cars name change too?

Aren't the wheel rim options "tied" to the chassis?

So if you put the F40 body on the 512BB chassis, then the rims should be available?

Not tried it. Just hypothetically speaking. :sly:

No, I think they are tied to the body, because when I tried to give the Acura DC5 Type R the F10 chassis, it still had the same wheel options. :indiff:

Just for a giggle, and an experiment, I simply put a Daihatsu Midget body onto the X2011 (the DLC one)... it works, drives exactly as it should and looks funny as hell.

Plus, the game treats it as a Midget so it's still giftable... :sly:

I think I'll try doing something worthwhile next. 👍

For those interested the Jaguar XJ220 Prototype is now uploaded. It has a Jaguar V12 engine and 4WD.

Word of warning: In the garage and occasionally in the tuning screen the car is listed as a grey Lamborghini. Don't worry if this happens, the car is a Jaguar when you drive it.

The AUP here prevents us doing that, sorry... nobody wants to be banned for this.

I'm sure a bit of googling will point you in the right direction though.
 
Is there anyone who just shares straight HP upgrades, no suspension or livery mods. That is all I want. Anyone?

EDIT: I tried to do it myself with a youtube video and that somehow corrupted my game save. Not really corrupted, if you want more info, please PM. I don't wanna spend the time if you don't want to know the possible problems.

This is one of my weird thoughts: but if a NASCAR chassis were fitted under some other car, say the Mercedes c63, would it still retain the NASCAR tires?

I think it would have the Mercedes' tires.

I'm pretty sure the wheels/tires are attached to the body.

If you don't want to do it, then don't.

I don't want any cars unless you can make one that I request for example bodyswapping, changing colour of a unpaintable car, changing drivetrain.
This is becuase I can edit BHP, ride height myself.
