How about the R8 FSI Tronic Quattro as the body, then swap everything else with the R8 LMS - chassis, drivetrain, transmission and engine? Then add a massive wing of course.

Would that work - or would the tires not sit right?

Sorry I meant the 5.2 FSI Quattro because it's '09 like the LMS. It could've been the same base car?

What I did was take the 5.2, and then swap everything over to the LMS, I thought that the interior was linked to the car itself, not to the body.

Well that, but in reverse . . . no?

The interior is from the body - or the car that you start with, then you just swap in everything else that's from the LMS. I've never done it before so I'm probably not the best person to listen to, I'm just guessing though.

Hmm, maybe you should use the R8 5.2 then add the chassis/transmission/drivetrain/engine from the LMS, don't switch bodies - just use the body from the 5.2. I didn't know you could switch bodies as well, thought it was just chassis's.
 
Progress: got the weight right, hp right, working on ride height need some help, got the transmission right.

-Daihatsu midget with x2010 engine :D
- modified nissan GtR '71 like the classic drift cars with bodykit (700 hp ish) saw one a few pages back.
-RWB porsche (bodykit important) preferably green

Just finished 2 new Rides , Will be shared shortly after i posted this :)

Dodge Ram - Lowered - Jay Leno Tankcar Engine 900bhp

Lancia Stratos "Road version" - Chassis from Stratos Rallycar (Wider) - Ferrari p4 330 engine & gearbox - Its 700bhp - I added 170kg to the front to get a 50/50 weight ballance, and 7/3 brake setup. Always thought the Stratos was hard to handle, still is (but got a hell of alot better)
