Hybrid Trading Thread: READ 1st POST!

use a motor from a turbo car like a 2jz supra or ej20 subaru sti. it wont show the boost gauge in the hub but at least you know the motor is in there

I turbocharged NA cars before with no problems. Working turbo gauge and sound.

But with the Toyota 86, after installing the turbo from the FT-86 G Sports, the exhaust sound disappeared. I already tried changing the exhausts to sports, semi racing and titanium racing but still no sound. Any ideas?

Some cars are like this. The only way Ive found is to swap in a turbochargable engine into it...

Can anyone make a Nissan Skyline '70( the one with the little fin looking spoiler) with a Nissan GTR Vspec engine with 800hp. Please

How do you remove spoilers off cars? This is the final thing I need to know before I consider myself happy with making hybrid vehicles.

PM me if that is more appropriate. 👍

White Cusco advan with everything (chassis engine etc) from 08 cusco dunlop imprezza.

Im guessing racing cars with solid paint chips can be repainted.

Has anybody made an exact replica of the JP Flag x2010 that I can "borrow"

Cheers

The X2010 JP Flag is dlc and so is the GameStop NASCAR and the Camaro ss edge, my question is how come you can make these cars and use them even if you didn't buy them on dlc. But you can't make stealth and chromline cars if you haven't already bought them as dlc. I hope that makes sense.

I never bought the stealth or chromline but I've created them all

Click the tick box, it's that simple

I know it can't be discussed here, but via PSN, could you tell me the software you use? On the one I use, I got to type in codes, and yes it is an application.

@ TehKitten & Nismo34, Nooo... Why does it have to be the 86 with this problem... :( Thanks for the clarification guys. 👍

Basically if the car is not a turbo or turbo option car the boost gauge wont show in the HUD, and just because you put a NA car motor in a turbo car doesnt mean the boost gauge dissapears. it stays, some you car still hear the blow off valve, and depending on how loud a paricular cars Blow of valve was it can still be heard with a NA motor. My FC with the v8 swap is perfect example of that

Not only GT86, BRZ and FRS, as well as Ford GT, Lambo Aventador and Vette ZR1 '09, there might be more ...

Nope, you can put turbo or twincharger on NA engine car and have all the sound + boost gauge working, like this :

You need to remove the code for turbo sound + gauge to have proper na engine when removing the turbo.

Could someone make me a lotus evora with a lamborghini gallardo chassis and with a mazda 787b engine? I'll supply the lotus, and I have many rare cars to trade, including rs200s and nissan pace cars.

Well that sucks... BTW, I think the Ford GT works because I did turbocharged mine with working exhausts. Or maybe you're talking of a Ford GT that isn't premium, in which case I have no idea.

I tested Ford GT premium, inaudible exhaust sound ( tried all exhaust ) when turbocharged even with proper coding ( boost gauge works ) - the reason might be the stock engine has supercharger. Tried to swap the engine with standard Ford GT, same deal.
I had to use similar non supercharged engine from another car model to make it work and now it's twincharged :)

You might have used another engine :)

I am looking for realistic hellaflush cars. NSX, EVO, GTR, Silvia's, STI's, so forth and so forth. If somebody could gift me one or make me one, that would be really cool. The first person to add me and send me one wont be disappointed. I will make it worth your while. Put "car" in the friend invite. My PSN is the same. Thank you.

Yeah, maybe I could've switched up the engine during the process. :D

But I'm pretty sure I did manage to turbocharge it. I'll check first thing in the morning. :dopey:

It doesnt bother me at all i love that my v8 FC still shows the boost gauge and has the blow off sound in between shifts. It would be nice if i could put a boost gauge in cars that have no turbo option like when i put the rb26 in the old z car. it doesnt show the boost gauge. but honestly its not like i use it the boost gauge. as long as it drifts like i want it i could care less. I pretty much only glance down at what gear im in certain times

Did you have proper turbo sound + bov on you RB26 Z ? My 1st hybrid was a 600HP Devil Z replica with turbo engine and no bov + boost gauge, I felt something was missing :( then I added the sound + gauge, get a better turbo with less lag, more peak HP and better mid rpm torque, experiment a lot :) Managed to have stock 5 speed with custom ratio for reaching 220+mph top speed at SSR7 -I hate custom trans whine. 3 cars built, one with stock chassis, 2 other with different chassis, all have 3 Tuning sheet with 3 power levels, 600+, 700+ and RB26 800+.

My latest upgradeable and reversable drift creations

Lowerded 567hp LFA motor swapped Toyota soarer

Slammed 534hp LFA motor swapped Tacoma truck.

Both cars are easily returnable to stock and upgradeable.
