Hybrid Trading Thread: READ 1st POST!

Murcielago still has the PAGANI ENGINE!
Good thing too, because now the stats are even CLOSER to the real Murcielago 6.2!!!!
When I hybrided the car, it had 585HP @ 6000RPM, it now has 580HP @ 8000RPM!

Will try the Jaguar to see what happens.

So basically it still has the correct sound. But the power is corrected?

Yeah, it has the Pagani Sound but the Horsepower got reset, not a problem for me at all, everyone else should try this, if you ave your car a engine swap, it MAY have the SWAPPED sound, but same stats as before.

That's good news.

I wouldn't mind doing swaps and just having the sound.

I hope that doesn't get fixed in the next maintenance

My CLK-LM had the Nascar engine with no turbo, when I gave it a Turbo, the sound switched back. :indiff:

I was going to ask if anyone had updated then just tried to re-hybrid their car to see if it works.

What was it that you actually re-did?

Slammed and camber AND engine swap o and changed color on the re rx7

That's because there's no sound for a NASCAR with turbo as it doesn't exist

Can I ask a favour after you have done the slammed or what ever its called, have you gone and looked at the car in its normal view and not just thumbnail view?

Its just when I view mine in its single view it reverts it back to normal and takes away the mods of what you describe but looks fine (Slammed/hellaflush?) in thumbnail.
Thanks chat soon bye for now.:)

When I had re-hybrid it last night I looked beyond the thumbnail AND drove it and it worked

I think that PD only cleans up one time, as a warning.
I think next time you will be banned on their next update if you start building them up again.

As old as the game is....let them ban me its no big deal really hybrids are the main reason I started playing again at first ridiculous HP was fun but then I wised up and started making them realistic and I NEVER used hybrids on seasonals

I gave a F40 the GT300 RX7 Chassis, but it didn't show, maybe I did it wrong, I will try again later.:guilty:

Car data now read from game data, rather than save data, so you cant really change parts now.

X2010 JP Flag is not displayed anymore.

cars with hybrid parts (chassis, drivetrains) have been returned to stock.

I guess it won't hurt to delete my data......? :indiff:

I agree...

Now isn't there a 2nd maintenance period?
They could also be setting a trap for those who attempt to rebuild in between maintenance periods.

Cheers :)

Are you sure about this. Doesn't really make sense.
Because this would remove every part when a car is tuned.

I've seen somebody else post it, so maybe you just copied it?

From NGU, Sure some cars still have parts. But you cant further modify cars after the update.

So yeah, you blindly copied something that somebody else "thinks" as something that is right?

So, when I fire up the PS3, buy a new car, go to tuning....and then there is nothing?
Everything will be removed on next boot, since it "reads from the gamedata"?

Come'on...

*Sigh*

I mean by modify is switching engines, Suspension, Rear Wheel Drive Convert and etc.

Yes you can tune your car in Tuning Shop Thingy.

Don't sigh dude, your posting something somebody else said without checking if that's correct what your posting.

Of course when a car needs to be set to stock it will take source data...that is logic you don't have to post.

But anyway, I see where this leads to, which I will not be part of....

My bad. :( Sorry.

I have a theory that PD could be playing people at there own game? (Modded saves?)

Talk about being paranoid.

Since they made aware that they will ban people who are modifying there saves with all these hybrids and made it public knowledge thats the route they will take.

Now since we acknowledge there are plenty of cars out there already its a little hard to keep track of where they come from or who modded them or received them as gifts?

Now they place in the game data a piece of code that resets all modded cars back to normal.

And then they have a wait and see motion to catch the ones re-doing them.

Quite simple really, I mean if you can re-hybrid a car the update seems a little pointless?
Whats the meaning behind the update if people can remake hybrids afterwards.
Chat soon mate bye for now.:)

No you can't even re hybrid your cars.
It downloads somewhere original max stats and resets engine and everything.(Exept paint)

Anyway this isn't right place to discus what there happens...
