That is an atrocity to car kind there. A Japanesse car made into an American hybrid. . . Horrible. I remember seeing a special on Speed a few years back on that car. That is the ultimate identity crisis I have seen, excpet for a Mustang GT-R Rotary engine with headers  ROFLMAO!!!!

But anyways it is actually not that much of an atrocity because over here in the states japanesse cars are made by americans with some american parts. . . never mind, it is just not right with a V8. . . I would hate to turn that car!

I love that video of that "GTR mustang" it made me laugh so hard I fell out of my seat! I think that the CRX was made for a tractor pull or something like that... As for japanese cars being made in america...Japanese cars are not "made by americans with some american parts" Japanese cars are MADE in japan then all of the parts are shipped and BUILT in america. If you use that point I could argue that many american made cars are made in mexico and built by mexicans... would that make them mexican cars....no...so It all matters where the parts come from..... My Honda was made 100% in japan but if it was built here it would make it no less japanese..... lol they seriously need to clarify what "made in America" means. What do you guys think? should Made in **insert country here** be where the car/parts were made or where it was assembled? I'm thinkin it should be where it was designed that matters....this will be interesting....and off topic but its my thread so who cares!

well... if it is designed say in japan you should call it a japanese car, but made in should be the country where most of the parts are manufactured not necessarily assembled. if i was buying an M5 and it was manufactured in chechnya and put together in pakistan i certainly wouldn't want to be fooled that it was "made in germany" :D

yeah but they do that anyway....I checked to see where my car was made...it was manufactured and assembled in japan then shipped here to be sold....I also checked my hot wheels cars and all of them are made in malaysia :P

So many hybrids. But out of them all, only two of them stand out:
1) Nissan Sil Eighty
2) Mazda Lantis (equipped with a rotary engine)
