Powered by a 1.6-litre R4 Turbo engine producing 166 kW (226 PS) at 5,500rpm, the car competed in the challenging 24h Nürburgring race in May 2015. More than 80 percent of the drivetrain incorporated in the i30 series production car combined with upgraded race-capable technologies led Hyundai i30 Turbo to win the SP2T class and finish 71st overall.
