I blew my engine. SERIOUSLY mid race

U can actualy see engine flashing red lights in the middle of the car section in bottom left where tyres are, i saw that before in AI cars while watching a replay, had no idea what it meant.

If engine malfunctions actually were in this game, I'd probably have blown up every engine of every car I've used so far.

I really hope this is not a bug, I love this it bring more Realism. Now if only pd can fix the lobby so racing Leagues can start and Some endurance racing. I Wonder if you do an extended pitstop if they could fix it

I think this case is really awesome, there will be some reason as to whether it was OIL or just an engine overload in the race... that something like that could happen is an interesting idea. Of course, certain facts and framework conditions should be clear, but we as a "community" can certainly find out.

As someone who is currently enjoying the rotary cars in the game...

Was mechanical damage on? I could see this getting caused by a freak/phantom lag spike if so.
I believe this is in a current Daily Race, so whatever settings are applied to that.

Within two pages this thread has devolved from "GT7 has mysterious engine damage" to "Volkswagen sucks" without a single mention of "Maybe we should investigate and test this".

WHEW! Read the thread title and panicked. I just know my rotary cars and GT350R would’ve been pretty worn by now, considering I bounce the needle at every opportunity.

I had that happen with my Nissan Integra right after the rolling start at the Nordschleife, first I thought there was something wrong with the gear change, I could not get past a 120 km/h, I simply restarted and it was gone. Probably a bug.

24 posts deleted, all because some members can't accept a throw-away joke for what it is.

You want to discuss engine reliability, go and talk about it in the correct sub-forum, because this thread isn't it!
