I Dream of GT :)

I can only remember one of my GT-based dreams for the time being, i've probably had more, just can't remember them is all

It took place at Capri, with me driving a purple newer model Miata MX-5, not the new new one, but like the '02 model, i was just sliding around the course all "Zen" like i guess you could call it, and the camera angle was similar to the top panel in this comic page :

And thats about it, just me, the car, and the mountain, everything else was muffled, a nice dream, but what i'd really like to dream is being at or in a Super GT race (JGTC) or on BMI Hot Version with Tsuchiya and such

Maybe i need to play GT more to get that result 💡

I had a strange one last night.

It was kind-of a mixture between GT4 and 3.

I was on the main screen of GT4 and just above the house icon there was a picture a 80's style F1 car, I hoverd the pointer over it and it said "80's Formula GT" so I went to my garage and picked the 80's F1 car from GT3, I then went to the event and there were 99 cars compeating in the race which was 99 laps. The track was strange, really tight, very angular corners, quite long. It took me about 1 hour 30 mins so an avrage lap time of about 1.30 mins. I was against road cars like Nissan Skylines and I saw an Audi Nuveral Quattro concept car so it was an easy race. The prize for first was £100,000,000 and ast place got £1, The first 10 prizes was over £1,000,000.

Unfortunatly I woke up after about 30 laps.

Well i wouldn't mind getting stuck in a "Dead or alive" scenario with all those babes! But as much as i love GT, it would really start to suck! sure, you can drive, but who would you talk to? There's no chicks in the audience. All the dudes stand aroudn and (apparently) wave their arms and cheer any car that goes by And over half the "people" in the game are nothing but 2-dimensional cut outs!

Now look what you've done...i was making progress in this silly mental hospital--but now i'm paranoid!! again!!! ahhhh

one week ago I bought ps2 and GT4. my cousin came to me and he played a lot. That night he stayed at my place. My cousin quite often speaks during night. and that night I woke up from different sound, at first i thought he is breathing very loudly, bet then I listened more accuracy and understood that sound, he did sucked like cars do when you accelerate and when air is sucked in. I hope you understood. it was so funny to listen how he did it!

I've been trying to work out some of the patterns to the AI lineups.

I've been using my currently available Nürburgring 24 Hour fields as an example.

And so, last night, visions of Calibras danced in my head.

But in addition to worrying about which cars would appear next (I also remember Superautobacs in the dream...), there was an attic we were trying to sneak in to. For the secret seemed to be locked away in that attic.

I had another GT dream a couple nites ago...but it was GT2. I was doing some time trials at an Autumn Ring Mini sort of track (similar but not the same as the actual track). My lap times were sucky and i was trying to get good runs for the contests they're currently having over in the GT2 forum

Anyways, in the dream, my vision of the track went from first person to an overhead view (i think this would be considered 3rd person). It was as if i was sitting in front of the entire track...just like when i was a kid and me & my friends raced slot cars on a miniature track.

My lap times improved! I made good times! Ah...but it was just a dream.

yeah, I bought the game the day it came out and I played it so much, hour after hour, that I ended up having a few dreams a night about it.
It was kinda like when I lost my virginity, I got so addicted to sex I couldn't stop dreaming about doing it.

Thought I would bump this. I completely forgot about this thread, actually. But I"m doing hte Dream Car Championship, and searched "Dream Car" to find other people's reactions to this set of races. Next thing you know, this this silly thread came up.

As it turns out, I DID have a very vivid GT dream last nite. My boss was in it. He was some sort of headmaster in a school, and I was flunking (of course) all my classes. At some point in class, the GT1 intro song was playing and it was very intense. I love that Chemical Brothers remake, and in the dream I was seeing bits of the intro while trying to stay focused in class.

But you know how dreams are? Way intense. I was feeling every note of the song while slighty embarssed that my class mates might see me rocking out or whatever.

My GT dream. Back in GT2 when the CTR2 didn't suck and was one of my track sluts, I had a dream I bought one with all cash and was driving it (real life) rallying in the snow out here. Still think it's one of the more awesome dreams I've ever had.

Haha, I've never had a GT dream, that I remember.

But I was playing Ace Combat 4 way too much a month ago, I was hallucinating a pipper on everything from lack of sleep. I do remember dreaming about piloting the Panavia Tornado and using the big box of cluster bombs in the desert though.

I could go for some GT dreams.
