I hate the off-season

The off season has only lasted 1 week and i allready hate it.

i have nothing to look foward to every 2nd sunday. I miss the pre race buildup. i miss everything about it. and its only going to get worse with time

ive still got my champcars, v8supercars and motogp. But F1 (and my footy) has ended. F1 is always more special than champcars because of the webber factor.

But, through out my upcoming 8 week school break, i have the japanese gp still on tape. i can watch that over and over again.

who else is sick of the off-season allready?

The off-season is very useful to me, because it enables me to look again at my Fantasy F1 competition, tweaking, optimising, redesigning, fixing, everything that could have been better with last year's running. This is principally because the site goes into a "paralysis" state, and means I can change the operational code without worrying about immediately breaking the site.

From a sporting perspective, yeah, I hate it. But I think it's necessary to bring in the sense of excitement for the new season.

I find the Grand Prix makes the summer go so much quicker than the winter does without it. It's either a GP weekend, or only 7 days until one. It'll be worse after the Rally GB because there's no motorsport I can watch until mid January. Roll on March.

At least in England you still have football to watch.

over here, all our codes of footy finished a month ago. the only thing i can watch in the cricket. same result every time australia kickin the worlds butt.

It will give noobs like me chance to catch up! I LOVE F1, but I duno when it comes on! It seems like it's on once every month or something! And Speed Channel never advertises it...:-\

I was watching Sunday Night and saw a race from '93 when a young Schaumaker came in 2nd next to Damon Hill. lol.

Im guessing he won the championship this year??

yep he won it in the final round at suzuka from kimi and juan pablo.

my late sunday nights are still meaningless. i tried to pass my disappointment by watching the sunday movie CAST AWAY it sent me too sleep. which is unusual because on sundays i usually stay up till 1am
