I have a question about the G25

I'm getting the Logitech G25 for Christmas and I was wondering if it's what I should do (I saw the announcement of the G25 specific for GT5 but since we don't have much infos about that, I'm not sure)

Do you guys think i should go and buy it or wait to get the one with GT5? or something.

I can get the G25 for 235€ which i think is a good price!

My thoughts on this matter however are that you should get a G25 for christmas. I have one, and I can honestly say its one of the best purchases I have made, it is a very good steering wheel.

Oh i should have, sorry (it wasn't in particular for GT5p but for GT and other racing games aswell).


I pretty much made my mind up but I wouldn't want to like buy the G25 and then when GT5P comes out in europe and the us, the new wheel would come out and be dissapointed or something

its more than likely that the wheel coming out with gt is going to just be a g25 +gt5 bundle or it will be a g25 with different colour leather/stitching and some gt logos. mechanically i doubt theyll be any different.

Yes, it's very unlikely that Logitech would publish new "premium" wheel as long as G25 is in production.

I read somewhere in an interview with KY that he finds the G25 a good wheel but there is still room for improvments. So, I guess that there is going to be a new version of the G25 when GT5 comes out.

Show me one "official" announcement link from an "official" source (SONY/Logitech/Polyphony), and I will believe you. Everything you read about that is nothing more than user generated rumor being recycled from forum to forum, as in 50% of all information on the internet.

Like those freaking so called review scores by famitsu. The fact is people wanted to believe what they wanted to be true.

Well, I am not saying 100% there won't be a "version" of the G25 wheel with a GT5 sticker on it, but will it be a totally "new" wheel made exclusively for GT5? No one knows.

Is it possible that you're confusing "it" to the recently launched G25 for Japanese market? That is 100% the same wheel (from the pics at least), only difference is that logo says "Logicool" which is Logitech's brand name in Japan.

I know what your saying. He said that the wheel would be improved and will come out in a long time, probably in 2009. I will try to find the video. He was pretty much saying that the g25 wasn't good enough for him. Trust me guys i'm not making this up. I'm looking right now for the video.

Can't find it cause it's too old but let's just forget everything about this we'll all see what's going to happen eventually. My bet is that a new wheel will come out in 2009 tho.

I have a feeling like most of you that logitech will stick a gt logo and have all the playstation button icons placed on the g25 buttons.
