I miss the old tracks!!

Before this game was released I was so excited. Hoping for new tracks in addition to the old ones. But I guess the new ones replaced some of the beloved tracks. I should have seen it coming as it seems every new itteration lost a few. I want to have a momont of silence for all of those tracks. Red rock valley, grinderwald, seattle short and then regular seattle too, pikes peak, tahiti maze and tahiti road from gt2 that we lost in gt3. The complex string and special stage 11, And from Gt4 infineon, costa di amelfi, citta di aria, george paris v, apricot hill, midfield, motegi road coarse.

Please if i missed any let me know what they are and the last title it was availible in.
 
I' miss the old tracks too man =( especially thaiti road, the begginer track of gt2! It should be nice if a dlc will give back to us these tracks!
 
smoky mountain north from gt3, the orginal rome track, although the new one is faster, id prefer a real tight street track
 
Thirded, that pretty much sums up the ones I miss...OK i would count myself as a non-whiner on these forums but you can't help thinking how INCREDIBLE it would be if this game had built on those tracks, not scrapped them for others.

*EDIT* Grindelwald was nice too but that's an indulgence as i've been there, and geographically it's really not so far from the Eiger in relative terms so can let that one slide!

I was disappointed as well and miss them. It would be nice to get those oldie but goodies back along with a few new ones:tup:
 
There's really no excuse for the game lacking so many old tracks. They could have put them in as "Standard" if they really had no time. The game size is 10GB+, surely they could have made better use of the space.
 
I just want Midfield and Seattle back :(

Honestly I'd settle for just Midfield...my favorite track :'( I was way excited about running Midfield in GT5, and it's always been my test track.

REALLY hope we get a dlc pack of omitted tracks.

"Even" nothing, GTPSP has a great track list. Valencia!!
 
There's 1 track from I believe GT2 that I really really loved. It was a fantasy track, something like red ring raceway. Friends and I used to do constant JGTC races on that track. It never came back in other GT titles but I wish it did. Normally I'm a bigger fan of real world tracks but do find the occasional fantasy track that I really like. In GT5, I love capering.. something about it I haven't figured out yet

Considering some of the tracks do seem like "standard" tracks with nothing but higher res textures and HDR added, it could have been done.

Seriously, the difference in quality between some tracks is staggering.

i would hope if they were going to put the tracks in, 5 years seems long enough
 
Didn't bother reading thread-Me Too!!!
I think we should at least have all the real tracks that have been included through the years!
Hint:Pikes Peak, Infineon...

I really miss infineon, citta di aria, el capitan, twin ring motegi & seattle.

I understand why PD might have removed some of these tracks, as a way to keep each version of GT different from the last. That said I think that means they should add new tracks, not take the old ones out.

How many different tracks have their been in all the GT games put together?
 
I hate Grand Vally Speedway

I must of done around 2000+ laps of that place through the GT series and I'm sick of it.

Bring back Complex String, Used to love driving round that in my XJ 220
