I need a wheel/pedals that can fit in a suitcase. Suggestions?

I just got into the hobby. The last time I played racing games was Papyrus Indycar Racing in the late 90's when I was a kid. I was going to buy a motorcycle again but I got into sim racing instead and I am loving it.

Anyway, the issue is, I work out of town for days and weeks at a time. And I want to race when Im out of town. I have a PS5 and GT7 at home with a Vivo rig. But when I am out of town, I will probably just be using my Nitro laptop for gaming. But I don't really want to buy a wheel that will only work for PC that I couldn't also use with the PS5.

A base with a removable wheel seems like the most compact way of going about this. That way, the wheel can just lay flat in the suitcase. But there doesn't seem to be a lot of options out there for a removable wheel setup that will also work for PC and PS5. That Cammus 5 wheel is the most compact. But it will not work on PC.

I've also heard that there's these adapters out there that will allow you to use PC only wheels with PS5. Has anyone used them ? Are they reliable ?

My preference would be a setup with a desk clamp, a removable wheel that will work with PC and PS5.

Just buy a cheap 2nd hand t300, it has a detachable wheel & a desk clamp, it'll work with PS & PC.

You don't need the 3 pedal version & a gearstick, just buy the 2 pedals version & use the flappy paddles.

Considering it's not your main wheel you don't need a DD just to travel with for a few days & it'll all fit in a rucksack if packed correctly.

Yeah that one looks like a good option. I could just buy new at that price point too

My CSL DD would fit in a suit case with no problems, the base is small. The 5nm GT version might be ok for a desk.

Fanatec is in the process of changing hands because of insolvency though keep in mind.
