I am looikng for someone to help me tune some of my car. Tune for indy the 1/4 track.
So if some one can help me out with some drag tune. I will give u car, paint in return

EDIT: woops, I didn't realise you were looking for drag tunes!

Which car? There should be something for it in the sticky thread "Every GTPlanet Tune...", which you could use as a starting point.

Or, if you wanna try it yourself from scratch, check out the method in my signature.

Cheers,
Simon

Well, as i wrote in the suspension thread, you can start by looking at these settings (only for rwd cars)

For maximum weight transfer to the rear wheels (drag racing), I and many other use these settings:

Ride height: F (lowest possible), R (highest possible)
Spring rate: F ( lowest possible), R (lowest possible)
Extension: F (1), R (10)
Compression: F (10), R (1)
Anti roll: F (default), R (default)
Toe: F (0.0), R (0.0)
Camber: F (0.0), R (0.0)

I dont know if that helt you though...:indiff:

I know how to do that
I just cNt get any faster like I stuck on my tranny set up

Try this, this is the easiest way to tune a tranny. First reset your gear box and do the way it's showed.
Check also the High power engine transmission settings, i think this will be more adapted for a drag tune. Each number representing the 5 or 6 or 7 gears box on the pics show where each gear have to be setted on the setting panel.

Anything, just ask me by PM ,it will be a pleasure to help.

05 gt no stripe

Here is the gear box ford GT05 nostripe for full power. Enjoy.

Transmission how to process:
1- Select default
2- Select final gear at 3360 (default)
3- Select top speed at 410 km/h = 254,7 mph
4- Set each gear at this ratio:
1: 3308
2: 2255
3: 1672
4: 1319
5: 1072
6: 0898

It 'll give a top speed (above on the right) of 385 km/h = 239,2 mph

Tracks: All around / adapt with final gear to each track

That thing is quick. Can't you make it break 240mph???

the gear box for shure is able to do this, but the engine don't know moove the final gear down to a lower value till you reach the max speed on track.
With no downforce i think it go yes.

Ford GT - Don't bother moving the final drive ratio, just run the top speed slider to the very end and it'll hit 255mph on a longer run. For circuit racing and short drags, roll the slider back to 255mph and it'll fly!
(One of my recent top speed runs, based on a fully tuned model, not restricted)

If you do this "just run the top speed slider to the very end " you 'll reset all the gear ratio settings and run with a stock box. It's as fast talking about top speed ,but not acceleration.
The only way to maintain your gears setting and module your top speed is with the final gear.

lol
baby
sad how people ask for help out and there as always someone who a dick head
your only like that cuz u know u can get away with it n that it

Hint... You won't last long here typing like that. You agreed to type properly when you signed up (read the AUP).

As for Adrenaline being an arse... Yep, so? Something you gotta realize is we get about 20 threads a week asking for a setup that is either readily available (see the sticky started by Adrenaline, it has EVERY tune listed) or is a "trade secret" e.g. drag tunes, where nobody wants to give up their competitive edge.

In 1/4 mile people are extremely secretive about anything about their car like most people say "they don't want to give up their edge" it's very true a good tune one day might be crap the next becuase everyone is improving all the time

Uhh, Adrenaline...why "Banned" next to your name?
How can you change this?

EDIT: Yes, the old one is better!

Ehhm.....what? What happened?
I don't understand.....

And how could you write "doesn't play well w/others"? Mod? (that was my question)

What is this I don't even. Why is IE even on your taskbar?

When you get banned, it's impossible to 'log out'.
Therefore impossible to create a new account.
I suppose I could have cleaned my cache, cookies and all that but... IE was only a click away and I'm lazy.

@Slump, it's in your options under 'user title' 'use custom'.
I didn't change it to 'Banned' I actually got perma-banned.

Ahhhh. Fairy snuff.

Edit: @slump: He got banned due to a misunderstanding over his avatar. All sorted now. As for setting user title, go to My GTPlanet -> Edit Your Details.

Ahh, ok. But why says it: "This ban will be lifted: NEVER"? Fail?

Well they specified a permanent ban when they banned him. Then manually lifted that ban. The forum software allows you to set a ban to expire after xyz days/weeks/months/years.

Yeah, it's 100% true! Adrenaline doesn't play well with others!
