I need some pickup truck expertise in here!

As some of you may know, I have a 1976 GMC Sierra classic,a short bed.
And I want a campershell, bed top, whatever it's called for it.

Now the problem is I live far away from Pickupia, and shells that will fit my truck are very rare. I haven't seen a 70's shortbed with a top on Google so far. But now, I found something that might fit as the bed seems to be the same length.

What I now need to know (because this top is 1,5 hours away from me) is the width of the bed of this thing roughly the same as mine?

From a quick check online your bed is a smidge wider. Roughly 1/2 inch or so. I think it may be close enough to still fit.

Edit: That cap looks borderline too narrow for the truck it is on already. Knowing your bed is even wider, it may not fit.

It even looks like it's on a truck to the left of and behind the primary focus of the picture.

That top will fit in the bed of your GMC, not on it.

A Leer 122 should fit your truck. They also list an international dealer being in Germany. When you check their website to see if it fits your truck, you'll either have to pick a custom fit or the easier route of picking the 1976 Chevrolet C10.
