I :banghead: can't :banghead: beat :banghead: this :banghead: RACE!!!:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: I tried using every car that has a hp close to 591, tried the cusco, the rally cars, the lightweight ones, everything! could you please please please tell me what you used to beat this race? i'll be eternally grateful to the person that supplies a worthy car!!

Try using the audi TT LM Edition with medium tires, lowered to max 52/85 Downforce ACSC at 90 TCSC at 25. that should work
Cause i used that to win the race;)

try using the TT LM with medium tires lowered to 85; 52/85 downforce ACSC@90 TCSC@25 that is what i used and won ;)

Sorry but if you can't beat it with a car like the Cusco, you just need more practice, I hammered the AI with underpowered cars in that race. Don't take this the wrong way because I don't know how long you've had the ame or how mcuh you [play it but tghats all you need, maybe search for some better settings.

The GT300's always given headaches to beginners...using the other GT300 cars isn't always an easy win.

Try the Alfa Touring Car, although anything over 450hp and under 2600 lbs. is usually overkill, once you get the hang of it.

It's quite possible to dominate the series with a fully-tuned S2000, for example.

Try any of the Skylines if you are a begineer because they have 4WD and makes it better for handeling and less spinning. But if you are up for a challenge then try a RWD car.

I won the GT300 one time with the Celica Rally Car (the 561hp something one). Absolutely creamed them. Got 28 points - won Grand Valley, Deep Forest, Midfield and Apricot Hill, got 4th or 5th at Laguna Seca due to some driver error.

Listen young grasshopper, a good car is the NISMO400, modified into a race car with these purcheses:

Semi-racing suspension
Sport Brakes
Brake Balance controller
Super soft tires (back and front)
Full Racing Transmission
Triple Plate Cluth
Racing Flywheel
Carbon Driveshaft
Performance Chip
Port & Polish
Turbo Kit Stage 3
Racing Intercooler
Racing Muffler
Weight Reduction Stage 3
Racing modification
Active Stability Controller
TCS- controller
Limited Slip Full Customization

With This Combo for the NISMO 400R, it will be exactly 591 HP, and it will be fast, with good handling and turning. Try it.

i love you people. i'm only getting angry at the fact that i've been playing this game for over four weeks and have about 40 million and can't win it. don't get me wrong, i haven't even bought the escudo because i want to win the game without 'cheating'. i'll try the cars you told me about and i'll get back to you. thanks again!

Both cars are freaking overkill in my book and the camaro SS is quite the underrated car in GT2. I used to slap down allot of my mates cars back in the day with it.

Yeah that MR2 was rubbish compared to the other GT300 cars, the stock MR2 fully tuned however was a nice bit of kit imo.

what's the limit of the hp?

[sigh] The BIG "P" SKYLINE has 702hp at the rear wheels, where as, the GT300 limit is 591HP at the rear and front.

I haven't played this game for a half a year and I still know what the hell i'm talking about.

The Daishin Silvia with whomp the competition with very little set-up. The [R] R30 Skyline will also put them away quite handily.
The very first time I did this I did it with the GT40 race car. That was a lot of years ago, and I recall it being a complete rout.

That R30 Skyline Race car was just a classic kick ass car, surly one of my most used cars.

I found the Jag XJR15 was one of the best cars in the game under 500 Bhp, and that would also easilly kill the opposition.
