I have started 10/12 remote races today.... My driver never places higher than 1/2 of the field... if there are 10 racers I will finish 4-6... never higher. I picked my best higher level driver and then pick my friend's lowers and drivers rated in the orange arrow down and get the same results... I'm still making money but want to hear from others ! Until I actually win or finish 2nd I think this is the way it's programed ?

Thanks

HAPPY RACING

Not true unfortunately. I set off 15 remote races yesterday & I think I've done about 12 so far today. I would say I've won at least 7 or 8 of the 27 & consistently place in the top 5. The guy I'm using to host is at the top of the red end if the scale & I generally host the 20 min daytona so maybe his overtaking ability is a core reason for the good results? Oh & he's L37.

My drivers are rather bad drivers. Still sometimes they manage to outlevel others and finish higher - or get lucky with the car they're given and score points as a result.

Most of the times the end in the midfield or lower end of the scale though.. but this has nothing to do with me hosting the race I think.

I've noticed that the front runners are typically the higher rated of the drivers, but the highest rating certainly doesn't guarantee a win... I've been watching for some patterns but the only pattern I've seen so far is that my guys certainly don't win all the time, and a few of my friends Bobs are very consistently challenging for the win...

Having the W12 Nardo on Trial Mountain is a guaranteed win no matter what level is driving it seems, on the straight it has more speed than anything else available for the race from what I have seen.

It definetaly has more to do with car you end up with. I've been alternanting between the 20min GTR & supercar races, so you can almost predict the outcome based on cars. Rarely suprised with the results.

From what I've seen, the factors you should consider are the car your Bob has, the position it starts the race (they cannot race like us, for them is really difficult to overtake, like IRL) and their level. But you should also note that price and XP doesn't seem to be affected by the position Bob ends.

The V8 Vantage races have a varied mix of cars, so there the guys with the best cars usually win. With the Nascar races the cars should be equal, so then it has mostly to do with the level and skill of the driver. If the levels are about the same, then it has to do with the personality of the driver, is he "hot" or "cold", and the different skill sets.

I've been running Nascar races with 15 level 20 bob's against one level 35-39 bob. Usually the 35-39 bob will win, but if towards the end of the race he calms down enough and the bobs behind catch him at the right moment when they are racing each other and are thus "hot", a few of them will catch him out and beat him to the finish line.

And among the level 20 bob's, there seem to be a few who more often than not end up close to the top, so they seem to have a better mix of skills than the others. But if their "mood arrow" is pointing down, they will probably end up losing to the others.

But roughly speaking there doesn't seem to be a huge difference among equally leveled bob's, and I think it mostly has to do with their mood at the time.

You're not joking, my level 11 Bob beat a bunch of 20- and 30-level Bobs, while driving the Nardo.

That's why I pretty much always run the 20-min Daytona. Being the same car and oval, it's more on-line with driver level/skill vs. what car you got by random or how far you start in grid.....

I guess if you have low-level drivers, more likely to win on the other courses though..... by luck of the car-draw.

Well my Level 0 driver got whooped in the W12 nardo, and he wasn't spinning out or anything, he was just slow as hell like he was driving the aston martin.

My shared Bob's are in the mid 30's. Their remote racing abilities are a joke compared to how they are performing in real B-Spec.
They quite often brake too early; especially in the Nascar events where one would assume it has nothing to do with the car ... they get constantly owned by Bob's in the range of 6-24 ...

You win the same credits and xp no matter what place you finish?

Not true at all. I race bob's that are all around the same level (30-40) and the Nardo doesn't win even close to every time, not most of the time, and even a quarter of the time.

The only thing that is constant is last place, the Vantage. The other things that seem more frequent, the V16 will lose places to spin-outs and going off track. If the Ruf tries to pass near the finish line, it will rocket off the side and drop 5 or so places.

I wouldn't go so far as that, I'm simply saying that we don't have enough data to analize. But what we do know for sure is that ending first doesn't neccesarily earn you the most XP and money possible.

My level 2 Bob Dumas is beating 15 other level 20s to 30s in the short races.

NASCAR at Indy finished 1st & 2nd, but started in the top 5 in both of those.
Tsuka finished 5th and 6th, but started around 7th or 8th in those.
Can't remember the other race, but Dumas started 15th and finished 16th.

After these four races, he is now a level 8.

first race car and level matter a bit ..depending on spread of exp diff your highest level will always win over lower level.

second group Daytona --seems to pay the most btw --also it is more common for higher level mix to always defeat lower levels.
Depending on how bd your Bobs skills have gone and his condition ..if he is within 30 to 40 and racing lower levels he wins or places ahead.
I have seen a really well leveled 27-29 beat all of the old worn out lvl 36 and so ons --but this depends again on luck of who gets picked for races as many wont run the higher lvl guys..

Third group is up to the car --its the race with the crazy results and any Bob can win it levels do not matter as much as the car .

My method is simple I pick 16 to run and run multiples of those I see have run my guys --don't worry about lvls at all except I will run your lower guys to lvl them up --except if you leave them that way for long.
I try to mix from friends list until I am sure everyone has raced a few.
