That's similar, however, one key difference does exist, GT 7 was marketed and launched as a return to Gran Turismo's single-player roots, not something that iRacing focuses on at all really.
The always online was sort of acceptable with GT Sport for similar reasons, for GT 7 it's not.
I'm 100% sure people would understand not being able to share liveries, photos, etc. while maintenance is going on, but not being able to access the Cafe, buy cars, run single-player races and championships?

Just yesterday I was telling my bro in 4 yrs PD have always been punctual with GT Sport updates... 🤭

Oh you all are just used to having it pretty good, as PD actually listens to the player's complaints, often gives us what we want and doesn't release a half-assed game.
While I was in isolation some time ago, I got so bored I decided to try out the freshly released Forza Horizon 4, mainly because it had my own cars in the game, which seemed like fun. Now this one really is a 100 dollar game and it was so buggy at launch, that a Russian cracker (who easily cracked online as well, in 2021...) actually fixed some of the bugs in his release lol.
And to this day that game is buggy as hell (and by "buggy" I mean unplayable in some cases, not "buggy" because the GT Auto is missing a few colors) and actually completely unplayable for Fanatec owners (as the game just crashes at the cutscenes when you're using Fanatec equipment - which is actually supposed to be officially supported in the game).
So there you have it - I'd say PD has done a great job as always!

I was de-escalating the situation which went right over your head, keep on believing what you want to think though. It's almost like when you called shade, you were the one throwing it....?
If you want a question answered, it would do you a world of good if you could just grow up and be a bit more understanding and direct without the fluff and fake reactions, not just for me, everyone would appreciate it.
