i just wonder why these people want the f1 so bad. i had and win it 2 endurance laps on first try. i got F90 F68somthing.

Huh? I don't understand your second sentence, so I don't know if this is the answer you are looking for. Anyway, the F1 cars are the best cars in the game! Lap times will suddenly drop once you aquire one of these. Your friends will look at you in a new light, your significant other will treat you with more respect, your boss will give you a raise, world hunger will be solved, cancer will be cured, etc...... 
In all seriousness, though, the F1 cars will give you the fastest lap times on almost any track, barring the test track and maybe super speedway. There are no other class of cars that even comes close to their handling! And they are decently fast too.

geez, i feel like such a geek, but not all of the f1 cars are true F1s. I just won the F686 from the Laguna Seca enduro, and if you'll look at the specs, you'll see that it's a turbo-charged V6. FIA rules for F1 engines dictates that the last couple of years models' had to be NA V10's.
there's a lot of styling differences in the chassis' btw the F090-S and the F686. since I haven't seen them all, i don't know how many of them are CART/Indy style, and how many are bona fide F1 cars, but they certainly are in the Formula genre, and kick major butt...

All the F1 cars are based on real F1 cars driven at one time. The F686 you won is from 1986 ( as denoted by the 86, the other 6 denotes the number of cylinders) thus it was an older car and actually was a 6 cylinder. The F090 is from 1990 obviously and as a newer car is a ten cylinder. The letters after the car names are merely the last name of the driver who drove the car they were based upon.

Try winning the races with a car, which has only a few upgrades, winning with the super race car's is too easy.
Much better if your in the pack fighting wheel to wheel, rather than lapping every car on track. Like it's more fun to win by 2 seconds, rather than 2 lap's.
That's one reason I will be only using the F1s against other F1s, or Race Car's v Race Car's.
No point using a Race car against stock car's.
