The FIA has revoked Super Aguri driver Yuji Ide's superlicence and the Japanese driver will not race again in F1 this season.
They tried to do that to Senna, therefore...

Ide=Senna.

:irked: yeah right........ and my name is Damon Hill!

and frankly I kinda find that disrespectful to Senna.

Oh well that little accident :D.... I guess that this is a step towards my favorite... Tsuchiya-san.... ViperGTSR01 seems to share my wish, what about you ? ;)

At least Ide lived his dream. A fellow by the name of Nakaya was to drive the Brabham-Yamaha in 1992, but he failed to get a Superlicense. Surprise! The Yamaha engines went to Jordan instead, Brabham spent thier final season with an old Judd V10.

There's also Ricardo Londono-Bridge, who was yanked from his Ensign seat after the first practice for the 1981 Brazilian GP. His Superlicense application was denied mid-meeting! Almost as amazing; Marc Surer took the car to 4th place in the rain with no previous testing of the car.

This has got to be first time I can think of a driver losing his Superlicense during the season; I suppose he was granted it on a provisional basis.
