If there was one thing you could add to GTPSP, what would it be?

- GT mode.
- Flashing lights on the Skyline Pace Car (that's what I liked about it in GT4)

It has flashing lights. Subtle but it is there.

I would like to have photomode, similar to Wipeout pulse.

may be after youve bought all the cars in the game, a new set of cars would turn up for you to buy and more tracks to race on so you dont complete the game and you sit and say,"Ok, now what."

The "now what" should be GTPSP 2. Don't know if that will ever happen though. TTPSP would be nice as well.

Well yea it is gonna happen when they bring out the PSP2 later this year, called the NGP for now. Probably why there's no updates for the current game!

- GT mode.

I'm all for a GT mode in a sequel to GT PSP. Some people may think it is a little absurd to have the full blown GT mode in a portable game, but someone I know only uses handhelds because they feel consoles are too expensive. And I'm sure they must not be the only one who does this. So, it would be nice for portable only users to have a proper GT mode without having to go to the expensive of buying a PlayStation 3. This is just my opinion anyway.

I think you're right. It's really silly they left this out. I never understood it. If I wanted an arcade mode I could play it too. Why not include both?

It made the game feel very incomplete to me. A GT game needs license tests, career, and arcade. AND TUNING.

It's been said a hundred times before but why didn't you add a simulation mode PD?! Imagine if you had a career mode, could be something as simple as GT3. I really think it's such a shame why they missed the opportunity to give the psp a game it truly deserves.

^this. Nuff said. LOL

While I'm perfectly okay with the game as it is, I, too can't believe they opted to not include a career mode of some sort.

I mean they should have known it would make many fans angry. Why not play it safe and assure this becomes an insta-classic instead of what many consider a watered down portable version. Especially when they managed to squeeze in so many cars and tracks?!
And there would have been opportunities to still leave out elements that don't translate so well to portable play (like 10+ lap races, endurance) to not overshadow the main version and make this more accessible for portable gaming. I also think most people would have gotten over no/limited tuning if there was some kind of career.

I think the best way would have been to simply extend the challenge mode or add another mode with themed races/championships and limited choce of cars akin to the console versions ("muscle cars", "convertibles", "japanese meeting" etc.)

Well, it should have customability with cars. But polyphony seems to ignore that since most premium cars in GT5 fail to have a front splitter, rear diffuser and non ricer looking wing.

I know what you mean about the wings in GT5, but I don't know if much customization would really do much on the much smaller PSP, unless some sort of photomode was added.

Yeah, idk I just like the customability available in other games. Like everything on GT5 is just too dispersed sometimes. The Maserati Gran Turismo has a fantastic set up everything. I wish every car was like that.
