I want the Mobile 1 Super Circuit by Lewis Hamilton... :) surprising he has 2 or 3 turns from Suzuka in it.. đź‘Ť

Video HERE!!

NĂĽrburgring Nordschleife, it has length, it has variety, it has some most unique turns in the world, it has history and it just doesn't seem to stop entertaining me after years.

It would be good if the added the Top Gear track along with the car they use for 'Star in a reasonably priced car' then you could compete against the times acheived on the show!

For the sake of variety :)

Donington Park.
Craner Curves has to be one of the most exhilerating bits of tarmac anywhere.
The Old Hairpin needs courage in spades.
Coppice corner is also magical when you nail it. (Blind apex)
And Goddards is one of the most difficult corners to get 100%.

I've ridden it on a bike, and from Redgate right until the Foggy Esses is flowing and fast. Get one corner wrong and it also knackers the next two up.

Having said all that; Cadwell Park is actually my favourite.

+1 :) My favourite circuit of all time.

i really dont get why some people wants Tsukuba. its maybe good for drifting but its too short and not challenging. I would go for Midfield, Trial M. or Spa

I dont know why either. But I am one of the ones that want Tsukuba. I just love that track.

I´m on your side. Tsukuba is the most boring track ever to be featured in any racing-game. And both GT and Forza2 makes sure that it stays boring aswell, since they use it far too much.

I earlier said San Luis, or Potrero de los Funes as it´s called. I stick by that and show you an aerial foto:

It´s 6249, 85 meters long!

So many to choose from - Monaco, Spa, Trial Mountan, El Capitan, Brands Hatch, Nordschliefe...

I am itching to have a go on the Top Gear test track in the Suzuki Liana and Chevrolet Lacetti, but I think that would only provide a few hours entertainment and it doesn't look like the greatest track for racing. They're going to have to absolutely nail they physics for that combo so the times are comparable to real life. I wonder how the future stars' times will be affected when they can practice for days on end before getting to the track?

But I'd have to say the Talladega Super Speedway oval. Ha ha ha, I'm kidding of course. I don't want the uneven wear on my wheel from only turning left and the drool on my clothes from when I fall asleep sitting down.

Really I'd have to say Spa, ideally with some cars quick enough to keep it interesting, but not so grippy that Eau Rouge is flat.

my head says Tsukuba. it is the most possible one, easier to model, legendary status if you into JDM motoring, and most importantly, it has been seen! a very fun track, hard to pull a perfect lap, and balance is the key instead of power, just love it!

but my heart says Bathurst...

Can´t find any onboards but here is the last lap from FIA GT:

EDIT: I did find this though:
Very interesting!

Bathurst looked VERY cool... Ive said it before.. they should put that one in... V8 Supercars was awesome there.. :) and Tsukuba is also a good one... Dont know why people are flaming it... I believe that is THE time attack circuit in Japan with a long history.... Would be really good for Time Attack events, dont know how racing would be there....

If I can't have the full Mille Miglia course in all it's glory and a Mercedes 300SLR to drive, I'll have the 'Ring please.

I'm not a drifter and Tsukuba is a huge challenge to drive fast. I'm simply being realistic as to what PD could push in an update to GT5p. It's been almost a year and we still don't have the Nordschlife, the only track that really matters, so it must take them a very long time to tweak and rebuild long tracks. Tsukuba is a small track that could be re-rendered for GT5p. Asking for tracks, like Spa and such, that have never been in the GT series is a big ask at this point it seems. Hopefully they will make it into the full GT5 though.

Maybe this thread was intended to ask for any track, regardless of realities of game design. Maybe I'm being too practical, but it seems hard for PD to deliver anything anymore.

On second thought, the Top Gear test track would be interesting. Not so much for the track, it's nothing special, but for the ability to compare our lap times to the Stig in some of the same cars. it would be a good gauge of tires and car performance matched to the real-world (which seems to be a hot topic here). Even though it is a new track to the GT series, PD seems to have a close relationship with Top Gear and given how most of the new additions to GT5p have been due to promotions (eg. the Lotus, The California, The Citroen) having the Top Gear track show up is somewhat realistic.

Hard to choose one, but.... Brands Hatch (GP Circuit).

Some videos of Brand Hatch:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMX4gwZVERE - 2006, Brands Hatch Heritage GT Challenge onboard Morgan Plus 8
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0isZL2XmiS4 - 1979, John Watson with his McLaren (sounds incredible!)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPAcb3I4h4U - 1992, British Touring Cars (good, unbelievably close racing!)

I'd like Brands for the elevation changes and greenery.

Tsukuba or Silverstone.

For me it would have to be Donnington. That makes use of the Esses and Melbourne đź‘Ť

Keeping with the trend, I'd like to see all three of those tracks plus my local track Oulton Park :P Along with the rest of the BTCC calendar and old tracks like Goodwood, Aintree and the Birmingham Superprix.

But if I was to make a serious choice for a circuit for Prologue, I'd like to see Brands Hatch or Donington more than any of the other tracks, just because its more fun to drive slightly shorter tracks with the limited amount of cars we currently have.

I don't think it's that they haven't finished it. PD undoubtedly have a couple of hundred cars and a dozen or two tracks all ready to go, but they're just saving them for GT5. GT5p is for them to test the game engine and see how online racing works in the real world. They aren't going to give us every car and track they are working on as soon as it's ready, they will be saving most of the content for GT5.

As Ahmed Al Azmi found out when he visited PD's offices, they already have the Nordschlife. Whether it was completely finished then I don't know, you'd have to ask Ahmed if there were any obvious gaps in the scenery or whatever, but whether it's ready is unrelated to whether we're going to get to see it any time soon.

Well well.. It brings some good memories to my mind seeing those clips from Brands Hatch. I am still a big fan of Codemasters TOCA Touring Car Championship games, I mean those PS1 games. Knowing that we won't get Nordschleife or Top Gear test track in GT5P, I would choose the fantastic Donnington Park Circuit. If I remember right, it will be in F1 calendar in the near future.

Nurburgring and Spa are on the top of my list, but to be slightly different, I would also like to see the original Interlagos track, before the reform in the 80's.

The original Interlagos (with alsmost 8 km in length) is usually described as one of the most challenging circuits by many F1 drivers, and unfortunately was too long by today's F1 standards, and was cut almost in half to its current (uninteresting) form (~4.5 km in lengths).

Here is a link to the original project: http://www.gptotal.com.br/images/InterlagosProjetoOriginal.jpg
And here is a more clear drawing: http://www.etracksonline.co.uk/SAmerica/Brazil/interlagos40-89_map.gif
And here is the current form: http://www.f1.com/races/in_detail/brazil_804/circuit_diagram.html

Well Top Gear looks like easier to model to me :) But i dont want that track either because if we get Tsukuba or Top Gear than a lot of people (including me) will be complaining that those tracks arent suitable for ONLINE RACES and thats what we want the most aside from private lobbys. or not?
So in the end: "Anything but those two please :D"
