If You Could Edit Any Part Of Any Track, What Would It Be?

I'd put chicanes and an infield course (that would merge with the oval, like the Daytona infield track) in the Test Course track. That way you can make a car setup that would work at high and low speeds. It would make interesting tuning...

In the home menu, you should be able to drive the chrysler stratus (I think) that is in the background with the hood open (once again i think its open, but its definately there)

Right guys 'n Girls, you now have the choice to adit ANY track on GT3. What track would it be? What Part? and why?

I think I'd choose the last corner on Leguna Seca. I would lower the red and white thing on the left (Cant remember what it's called, it widens the track). Everytime I seem to hit it and go on two wheels and spin.

I would also probably make the tunnel corner in Trial Mountain bank slightly, so that you dont powerslide in the barriers.

What would you lot edit?

If I could edit any track I would throw some jumps in, even greater than the hills on the Seattle Track.

That's what's missing in GT3....bumps & jumps. I remember in the 1st and 2nd games FLYING towards the end of the Trial Mountain backstretch! :scared: In GT3 everything is so smooth it gets on my nerves.

I love that moment of panic when your front wheels hit first (after airborne) and send you spinning.

Yeah, as I said it's what's missing in GT3. :grumpy: That really was one of the things that ticked me off about it...how smooth Deep Forest, Trial Mountain, and other previously bumpy tracks became. Oh well...

I'd take that first turn at Rome (last turn Rome reverse) and at least give it some shutdown or reference markers. Maybe a cool chicane or some sort of S-turn. Have I mentioned I don't particularily like that corner? Good thing there was never a time trial at that track.

Yes. You have mentioned it! And as I remember I tried to educate you on how to take that corner properly...at least I think I did (maybe it was someone else). Anyways, you can't edit that part of the track...it's a city street...do you want to confuse the Romans even more than they're already confused? :nervous:

kidding.

If I were to, I would probably change the last few corners of Swiss Alps. Never could do that. Oh, and I would pretty much totally recreate Complex String into something you could do in a kei car in, like, 30 sec. XD

I would alter the small road (asphalt) section in Tahiti Maze, or is that in GT4?

Either way, it is very annoying, even if rallying also occurs on tarmac.

Wow! I can't believe this thread's still alive, it's been soo long!

I saw the title and thought "this rings a bell" last post may 2006, 18 months ago.

Anyway, i would fix the potholes on the straight on Sarthe.

EDIT: Sorry, i forgot this was GT3

I would add more elevation changes on Grand Valley Speedway, that includes some parts where you can jump. It's such a long and boring track.

I would make the Test track more of a place to test your car on high speed conditions, including many left and right turns and undulating surfaces, and a BIG RAMP on it.

I would edit Tokyo R246 and make a short route for the smaller powered cars.. :) --- Randy

Hmm I would nuke Apricot Hill and construct my own track... It would have a 500 mile long straight away with 5 pit roads and then 20 corkscrews the 50 chicains the a lopp d loop there would be a race called the WTF 1500 there would be 3 laps
👍

lol j/p i'd change the corkscrew on luna to a simple downhill incline

That could be fatal, and then Laguna Seca would be a part-fictitious track.

Awww. But that section of Tahiti Maze rocks!! I love the difference in handling and tire noise!

I guess you're right, and I really need to anticipate that change. It always catches me by surprise!

I would at least try to make sure that more light is exposed on that part of the track, or in Deep Forest!

The asphalt part of Tahiti Maze always makes me go ahhhhhhh....time for a breather! Phewwww...now back to the maze....:scared:
