Best-looking BMW in... well, ages; plenty quick enough, sounds great, doesn't use much fuel (particularly around town), has electric all-wheel drive for occasional slippery situations, stylish interior (2+2 for a dash more practicality too). Hopefully I'll get a go in one at some point this year (ditto the Macan) - it's just a shame I'll never be in the position to buy either of them...

Maybe you know about it, maybe you don't, but I'll make you see one thing about the i8. And you'll never be able to unsee it. No, I'm by no means trying to say it's a bad car. I think it's utterly brilliant and ahead of its time. There' this one thing though that makes it look... strange, to say the least

Take a CLOSE look at this:

Now, take an
EVEN CLOSER look at this:

And now at this:

I hope I'm not the only one seeing that the i8 looks as if it was about to give birth to the Z8 or the 991

Already aware of it :) But it's quite easy to "unsee" really, as your eye is naturally drawn to the unusual rear lights rather than the bumper.

Something like this.

Mid '80's Dodge Ram W350 with a 12 valve Cummins Turbo Diesel and NV4500 5 speed manual swapped in. The 12 valve Cummins is one of the most reliable engines of all time with many owners getting well over 1 million miles with general maintenance, the crewcab would give me and my family plenty of room and the old square Dodge trucks are some of the best looking trucks of all time, in my opinion.

If something went wrong with the Cummins, they are extremely easy to fix and have a vast aftermarket, plus if I want more power all I need is about 15 minutes, a board to cover the turbo in case of runaway and a screwdriver.

@CAMAROBOY69, you would drive an R8 or a GT-R off-road and in snow? Yikes.

This was one of the worst snowstorms I have ever been in. It took about 2 hours to go 15 miles. Hard to see in the picture, but there is about 6 inches of snow on the ground. In New England. And there were more expensive cars to come, including a Countach, another GTR, and a Murcielago, presumably from a car show. My truck was struggling to stay in a straight line. @peobryant any square truck from the 80s looks good
