A hearty congratulations to Rootbe for an amazing win. 👍 and further congratulations to my old team mate Ramon and Dan for filling up the remaining two podium places. 👍👍

It would be appreciated if everyone could find a few spare minutes to post their congratulations. 👍👍👍

Some absolutely incredible times from a lot of drivers. As I mentioned elsewhere, GTP_Wanna_B was truly impressive. But of course hats off to the top 3, heck top 10! Some of those laps were motoring perfection and when watching the replays to see where I could improve...instead of watching the speedo or the gearshifts, I just became mesmerised by the quality of the laps.

Truly something to aspire to, congratulations to all.

As for my finishing in 108th and Fastas in 100th...well...bugger.

:D

All the best
Maz

congratulations to rootbe and ramon for once again taking the top 2 with 2 exceptional laps! Both of you really nailed the last section, something I could never do.

Amazing lap from rootbe; I could see a .400 or .300 looking at rootbe, Ramon and el_greco's times. You do the exit of the bus stop superbly.

Congratulations to the Spanish teams GTros and Sutil, very tough competitors and great spirit for Gran Turismo on the forums.

I'm glad to get some points back (if the replay is clean) as I tend to leave it late in previous weeks, putting off doing laps until near the end and even missed the deadline last week.

Well done guys! Amazing times from the top 10 that were so far out of my range I would need the hubble telescope just to see you in the distance :P 👍

Congrats to Rootbe, Ramon and Dan for the 1, 2, 3 finish yet again
Great showing by Chronos also 👍

congrats to all. some quality driving that put me to shame! i lost it all on the bus stop, just couldn't keep it stable with good traction. Smooooth driving fellas ! maybe the next one will be more my thing (I'm sure I said that last time !) :)

Congrats to everyone here ! :)

I would like to know if there is something on the rules of this tournament about being of this planet, becausse i've got some doubts about the three elements ocuping the podium.

MR. Nightrider what´s the time now on Mars?

Deep congratulations to all three, specially for Dan who is always openning the path for excellence and is improving my driving and my joy as i never thought could be done.

great laps at the top!!congrats to them...👍

especially how they managed to exit the busstopchicane...
i did not have a lot of time to do many laps lately, but even if i would have,i dont think i could be that smooth...

well done guys..

Timppaq,where were you???....

spyrrari.

Congrats again to all 100+ drivers who stuck at it, and a thanks to all those at the top, whose ghosts help us shave that extra time of our rather unimpressive laps

Somewhat embarrassed by my showing in this one... by far the most difficult one for me as despite being able to stay within 0.3 or so of the fastest drivers up to T3, I never really sussed out the chicane.

Real respect due to those running 54's... super fast!

Some truely estonishing times recorded in race 5 and well done to the top drivers but more over, well done to all for sticking with this one and putting a time in.

Maz, just promise me you're not getting a wheel any time soon;)

Congrats to rootbe for his win (well done mate 👍 ) and to Dan as well for filling up the podium, congrats to everyone who got a 1'54 too, that chicane wasn't easy at all.

What has happened with the times of the first, second and third positions?... I hope it's an error of the DB...

Just watched replays, buggered if i can see anything wrong with those guys. Guess wait and see what the reason is

Will we know the reason tonight?

Replays from (GTRP user names used) Rootbe, Ramon, holl01, and Chronos have been reviewed and have been disqualified for failing to keep two wheels on track.

Standard Clean OLR Rules:
  • 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with (when airborne)) the track at all times

The race specific rule for Race 05 was also violated:

Race Specifics:

  • Where there are white and yellow lines placed along the edge of the track, this determines the boundary of the track.

Rootbe: 1:54.417

Team: GTros

Please be aware that a lot of effort was taken to prevent this, but sadly the evidence provided was too overwhelming to ignore. :(

I'll allow those concerned to post before I make further comment.

Sphinx.

Sphinx, Vaxen and all, good work and I hope you gain more respect for this.
It's unfortunate that these drivers breeched the rules and I hope they understand and accept your decision.

I believe it wasn't intentional by any of the parties to submit these times/replays but it goes to show the level of competitiveness involved in this series is high.

It also goes to show that we must thoroughly check our own times before submitting.

In light of this evidence I think I will be re-reviewing my lap time.

Thank you for your support. 👍

I did not submit my best lap time because reviewing it I saw the same mistake.
I think that it's clearly against race rules ;)

bus stop was terrible, very difficult to drive fast

I'm quite sure my lap is OK, I reviewed it 2-3 times, but if it were not OK I will have nothing to say but "excuse me" mates

You did the right thing Sphinx 👍
