I have a post from May 6 with this issue. It's so weird.

I may add that you don't need to change your car settings. In Time Trial, your mileage will not be saved if you exit before completing a lap. The mileage is still added to your daily marathon though.

So, it is all the way from launch. Funny how they have ignored the issue, considering they like to fix more trivial things.
