Im aussie and tired of driving with Japanese Aliens...

It sure be nice to have the option just for fun.
But this is PD so no, there is no catering to what people want.

Just think of it as being in Super GT(GT300) and Super Taikyu(ST-X & St-3/4). And who wouldn't want a racing career in those Japanese series?

What exactly are you on about? Regions are perfectly fine. I race with Japanese drivers all the time... I don't need to speak or read Japanese to know if someone is faster or slower than me. I'm not here to socialise, I'm here to race.

You'll also find if you send a Japanese player a message on PSN, eg "thanks for the great race" or "sorry for the bump on turn two, lap three", they will most likely respond in english.

edit: I've raced drivers from EU and NA with online "clean" lobbies. I can assure you that in general it seems Japanese drivers are more respectful than most. (possibly due to it being more engrained in their culture?)
I'm in NZ and love it that I'm racing with mostly Japanese. I reckon they are pretty much the cleanest racers out there, in fact I have punted 3 drivers off the track in my online racing career so far due to my ineptitude and late braking. Last night when I did it I felt so bad that on the start finish straight at Nurburgring GP I pulled over and slowed right down to give that driver their place back.

Im the same, today I witnessed a perfect example of great etiquette in sport mode on NB GP too.

After being spun out by a fellow Aussie early in the race, I was banished to last place (no safe re-entry), as I started working my way back up the field, a Japanese driver recognised that I was faster than him and indicated for me to go past on his inside line.

After the race I sent him a message and let him know that I really appreciated the gesture. He sent back a blushing smiley face and said thank you.

I can see bad connections only from South Africa. All the rest are fine, even Russia, and parts of Russia are much closer to Oceania than to Europe.
I don't like Spanish drivers in GTS, they almost always crash into others.

Too much lag bro with us...its bad enough us Brits getting paired with Spanish and Italians in games...the French are barely acceptable so you could imagine how bad it would be connecting to oz or you connecting to us.

Region is bollocks. We are an English speaking country, and the only other english speaking country we pair up with barely plays, (NZ)

90% of messages before a race starts are in a language i dont understand and that sucks balls

I want to race with you European Guys

Regions are set up based on time zones. To include you with the UK would mess up the start times for someone... You'd probably have to do races at like 3am... lol

The thing is that we actually have to, well for NZ & the eastern parts of Australia, the championship races are on at midnight or later. It's ridiculous.

There are issues in all regions. All of the races for me (US Pacific TZ) are usually over by the time I get home from work. They won’t ever be able to please everyone.

Not all Japanese players are aliens. Some are idiots on track. Unless you're referring to alien as someone who simply doesn't speak your language. Also, another point regarding regions. The times for FIA Championship races need to be changed back to how they were, between 8PM and 12PM. Not 10PM-2AM. That's stupid for residents in Victoria and New South Wales, where the majority of Australia's population live!

I'm Scottish living in Japan so I have a Japanese flag in game. I sometimes see Aussies commenting like "wtf does anyone not speak moon language?" but I want to warm-up for the race, not wrestle with an on-screen keyboard, so I leave them to it.

Try being in NZ and having them all start at midnight, 10pm was bad enough.

I'm Aussie and I'm tired of driving with other Aussies. I've had my SR lowered more times from contact with Aussies due to piss poor internet connections (1 red bar) lagging all over the place than contact with players in normal racing situations.

Im Aussie and I don't care about who I race just when. I'm usually drunk by 10pm. The Japanese also always get a good ping and we only get 3 or 4 bars.
