Hello again GTPlanet! :)

I don't want to start another Forza3 Vs GT5 war, but I've been a huge fan of the GT series since GT1 on the PS, as have many of you.

However, I enjoy driving sims on the PC and have done long before GT came along. - Needless to say I've been around a while can have lots to compare, and compare I DO!

GT5, and for that matter Sony have totally lost the plot!

Yes, there may be 1000s of threads about this already, but I wanted somebody to hear my view.

GT4 was about the best driving game I have ever seen, with some really NEW innovation, like photo-mode, ice-races and things that even hadn't been done on the PC.

5 years later, and we're starting to see details about GT5, and I have to admit... I'm really NOT impressed!!!

The GT series has been plagued by little things that have to this day not been added, or fixed! - For example: Skid marks on the road! - For people to look at a 21st centruary game, and ask why something so basic is missing, to me it totally unacceptable.

I don't want this to sound like I'm a Forza fan-boy ... It's been years since I've been an anything boy... but I really do think that if you compare them directly, what I've seen of GT5 so far is really not my idea of where the game should be by now. Forza3 doesn't look quite as good graphically good at GT5 to me, although the gap seems to be closing.

Like most people who are lucky enough to own both PS3 and 360, I fully intend to go and get both games... At the end of the day, in an arms-race like this, us consumers are in a win-win situation.

I apologise in advance to people offended by my views, but they are simply my views.

Photo-mode and ice-races aren't innovation to me, but I want skidmarks too, because that just belongs to motorsports.

And I thought Forza was coming out on PS3 too?

GT5 and FM3 focus on different things, and what you're gonna like the most is up to you, so I'm not offended at all. You stated everything as your opinion, and you have the right to think what you think. ;)

And we need yet another thread discussing the same things for what reason exactly?

Locked, we already have more than enough threads on these topics.
