I'm suing Polyphony Digital for a million dollars.

Read my post a little more thoroughly guy. ;)

Hmmm. Perhaps I should have finished reading that sentence. Well, the real story isn't interesting enough; just say you were going 150 to add some flair to it.

Crappy, from what I've seen. I wouldn't be surprised if the outside rear suspension hit the bumpstop and bounced. It felt that way anyway.

My suspension is due for an update.

Damn, how old are your shocks?

I’ve been thinking about this a little, and – knowing the US – you should try to take them to court. Maybe not for a million dollars – that’s a little superfluous – but you could probably get the cost of the damage. ;)

Maybe some new shocks, too.

It was plenty interesting from my perspective. :scared:

7.5 years/89,000 miles and OEM to boot. I don't see the problem.

It's a 98 Integra RS. It has a few bolt ons and wider tires but that's it. I wish I'd gotten into track days before I'd modified it, but oh well.

i'd say you need some stiffer shocks, new polyurithane bushings and a set of cams since the b18b isnt known for top end power.

Time for new shocks, springs, camber plates... forget about cosmetics, turn that thing into a full-on track-ho.

It has plenty of top end power in my case. I can outrun quite a number of cars in my class on the straights. It's the corners that are tricky....those damn Miatas handle pretty well. :P

Right now I'm thinking H&R OEs with Bilstein HDs. Naturally, I'd get the bushings done as well, but we'll see how the money works out. I do still have to eat and live somewhere. ;)

I'd love to, but it's my daily driver...it has to go in the snow! :nervous:

i dont mean to say your wrong or anything like that, i'm just saying from what i've heard around.

do you have more pics from the track day?

I'm not saying there aren't gains to be had, just that my money is better spent on handling stuff. :)

OMG PIX:

MIATAS! ARGH!

Even UFOs/spirit balls are welcome.

The pits and the end of the front straight (if this is the silver STi of which I'm thinking, he was hitting well over 130 by the braking zone. There was one lap during the time trials when everyone in the pits cringed simultaneously).

Skip Barber also teaches here. :)

Here's an ULTRA-PANORAMIC shot of Big Bend (turns one and two).

I do get the joke but me being me I've got to correct him anyway. Pop GT4 into your PS2, when the screen with all the info comes up before the intro movie, that pretty much excludes PD from any liability if anyone tries to replicate and moves they did in GT4.

I was about to mention that.

So what happened? Don't tell me you deliberately drove into a tyre wall?

risingson77
Nah, not really. I'm not conceited enough to take pictures of my own car for no reason.

I think "wreck" is a bit too strong a term. ;)
Yeah, it'll polish out.

you dont have to be conceited to take pics of a nice car.

but then again if you actually do have to be i must be terrible since my car is my avatar. :D

Your an idiot.

You went on to a track day of your own desition, not to make sure that a crash at 150 mph will reult in no dmage at all and not to prove Polyphony Digital wrong.

There is NO WAY IN HELL you will win that my friend. They even have notices WITHIN the game saying to drive carefully with a seatbelt etc etc etc.

:boggled: :odd:  :scared: :ouch:

Those smilies say it all.

Oh, cool. I really must recommendrunning LRP, though. Just be careful. ;)

LRP is something of a "car-eater" apparently. Two instructors went off the same weekend, and they're far more experienced than me.
