I dunno, is late Jan to early feb really that much of a delay? It’s disappointing, but I wouldn’t say poor treatment at all. They’ve let us know in plenty of time. I support a young man with a life limiting condition that means he basically has juvenile dementia who has more patience than some of you on here. Perspective people, please.

Mike from 505 customer support on Discord said this evening this;

"we are trying our hardest to get this out before the end of the month.
Weekend testing/submissions are happening to try to get it done for our ACC community."

A bit later on he added this;

Microsoft's been submitted. PS4 still being tested this weekend.

Thanks for keeping us updated Donnced.

Just hope they haven’t rushed it due to people whining. Who will whine more if it’s released with bugs that may have been picked up with a weeks extra testing... Went from “May be early February now” to “Being submitted/tested” in a couple of days. Ah well, fingers crossed.

I need help understanding this:

British GT pack was supposed to come out in December. 2020 pack was supposed to come out in this month, both are now delayed. I find this annoying.

So if they release either of those DLCs and there's bugs, that's my fault?

Dude,there is that Covid thing happening. Relax go play something else.

British GT pack was stated TBA winter 2020.

Meanwhile Kunos in end November launched 2020GT season DLC with Imola as a surprise, and Aris (kunos Dev) stated that magny cours isn't in the package due covid pandemic restrictions and they couldn't go for laserscan the track.
He also added that it can come maybe in a future.

They are working still on British GT DLC, wich Will first be launched on PC version, and then they will send the code, update of it and content to 505games/ D3T LTD studio set in England to port it for consoles.

Kunos simulazione themselves doesn't like to make "roadmap" just for that, it makes users expect things coming and there's always something that can change planned things.

In the first AC , laguna seca got a huge delay, and it was because the track changed from owner and kunos had to restart all conversation with the new owners to negotiate the licence of the track

Things will come, and once on PC, except 2 -3 months to see it on consoles

Lol, there's always a need to project. I said it was annoying, not losing any sleep over this. I still play the game quite a bit actually. But this is kind of my point, why aren't people allowed to say anything negative about a video game without being projected on?

And the game was released during Covid. So basically nothing they say is credible because of that?

It's 2021 now. If we end up waiting until summer for the DLCs so be it. But I don't care for this new thing where I need to feel bad for game developers because they can't adhere to their own release schedules.

The experience on consoles has been far from great. All I ask is they release things when they say they're going to. And if Covid is an issue, don't make an announcement until closer to the date?

I dont like it either, but they've had hurdles for sure. I just want it to be well tested.
(Sorry for the double post).

I couldn't agree more. But the notion that I as a customer am the one to blame for the developer releasing a buggy product is complete nonsense.

TBA (to be announced) winter 2020, we are still in winter.
And they launched Imola and 2020season without being announced.

So works Kunos simulazione, and they aren't in front of consoles version development and support.
Kunos only work and support the PC version, the only thing they do is once launched updates and content they send it to D3T Ldt.

Kunos on PC is launching 1 - 2 updates each month, and PC version is in a real good shape with practically no bugs.

Sure we can all blame the D3T Ldt for their slow porting and bad work, which they are known for in other games they ported.

Kunos will update and add the British DLC when it's ready for thim, they put a lot of details in the tracks, quite insane..

For example video from Kunos Dev;

EDIT on 18th January 2021

New news form Mike of 505games customers support on Discord;

"Sony builds have been submitted as well. So keep your fingers crossed that all platforms get approved! slight_smile The team is trying their hardest to hit the end of January date."

Another post from Mike at 505

Sorry for not being around; lots of folks at 505 here in LA are without power due to really high winds and fire danger. Things are still looking good for the end of this month though, so there's that.

I'm really excited to get my grubby little mitts on the next update. One of my pet peeves is not being able to use my controller for menu navigation when my wheel is plugged into my PlayStation. Any other quality of life improvements are very welcome too.

Imola is the main event of course and I cannot wait to get stuck into that terrific circuit. I'm thinking a multiclass night race with dynamic weather.

Strange, once I'm signed into the game with the wheel I can navigate the menus within the controller no problem. On Xbox

I might be more excited for the bug fixes than the actual content :lol:.

The controller bug is definitely a pet peeve, especially when you're trying to make/ admire custom liveries.

My biggest concern apart from content is some better support for the private lobbies. I'm hoping for a day when lobbies can be set to a single class.

Never been able to on PS4. Same as AC1. Very irritating.
Yeah same here. The only place you can use your controller is inside a text field box but you can't go into the box or confirm to close it with the controller, literally just enter the text :D

Is it really that bad? I don't know them but I always liked what Kunos did. I bought everything on Xbox to support the development but maybe it will never work? Console version is far from perfect from performance perspective.

D3T studios is a porting studio, they did the remasters of Mafia 2, with slow updates,and still have bugs, they also did the shenmue remasters, wich have still input lag, sega classics,also with input lag...

They literally bad ported the ACC game, introduced bugs that aren't on PC version (made and supported by Kunos). there's also input lag, and they didn't ironed it out, their communication with the users is really bad, we have to thank on customer support guy from 505games on Discord that at least gives us some news and try to help us.

ACC is really night & day difference between PC and consoles..

Here's some things ;

CP(competition points) rating : broken on consoles since launch.

Thrustmaster t500 compatibility ; broken since launch.

Auto DOR system (the game sets automatically virtual rotation 1=1 with your wheel rotation) ; not in consoles version , meanwhile its on PC version since the beginning,we have to set manually steering lock for each car/brand.

They "changed FFB to suit consoles feeling" , making FFB worse and on Xbox since then you have to set min force at 0 otherwise it screw up all FFB effects, on Logitech G29 if you push "PS" button durring a race, the wheel centers to the left... months asking for fixes..and no one has come.

In first update they took keyboard compatibility away...

They tried to improve the headlights,but for little to none improvement they took away rain efects on windshield,and dynamic blackering/rubbering away on the track surface.

They don't add the special events Kunos added in PC version since months,we still have only playable the 4 events that are there since launch on consoles.

Game Crash problems on PS, saving issues, still input lag.

It has great potential,but suport is really bad.

Kunos update PC version with 1 or 2 updates each month, last update on console was end November,and they didn't add core versions updates from Kunos.

Now in 2 days we hope that we will be on same core version as PC version (1.6.6) ,and hopefully without new bug and things screwed up.

Kunos should have done the port and support ,as like they made the first AC consoles version and support

@Donnced Wow, thanks for the info. I am still new to the sims so I don't have enough info yet. That's sad but I like you mentioned input so often. I love low input lag and many people don't care. D3T either I guess :D

I hope consoles are much better market than PC and Kunos sees it too. Even higher prices are OK with me. What I know console patches are still payed? That could be the reason for as few patches as possible. It's maybe cheaper after release? I don't know. Or maybe it's gone already.

ACC has big future and it's not too late to change everything. We'll see but it would be nice Kunos grows a bit and does consoles. The game deserves it.

They probably got so much grief for it they couldn't be bothered to do it again! :lol:
Or they were too expensive so 505 contracted it out to cheapest supplier (D3T) I mean why else choose them, not exactly specialist or proven track record

On the other hand I had problem with performance only. X1X version was a joke. When I got XSX I gave it a chance and it was pretty good but still too much stuttering to my taste. I need at least smooth 60 FPS for a racing game. Otherwise I was happy and did time trials only because it was smooth. I don't need much :D
