the fourth one i have recieved in 3 days. If they have this much time on their hands they need something else to do, and i know if there is a virus before i open, i have 3 different scanners.

because windows is a windows enviroment
and linux/macos is a unix enviroment

Because coding a virus for 'em (us?) wouldn't have any where near as large of an impact (directly to people) as coding for Windows does. If you're an evil person, would you rather target 90-something percent of the population, or less than 5%?

From my understanding Apple runs Mac... mac is supposed to be easier than Windows, so why us? because with think we are safe? I am running 3 virus scanners/shields, i lost one hard drive directly to the virus, and the second on trying to erase everything on the first. This s*** aint funny. If you have this much time on your hands, you need a job. By the way, virus definitions were released shortly after the first 2 striked. you can check my my site to find which are striking and the map below to see where and how hard.

OS X (the Mac Operating System) is a pretty GUI applied to the UNIX kernel.

Well, i just recieved 2 more viruses making a grand total of 8.
aburrage@uncc.edu ,Subject: Mail transaction failed (thats like the 5 others also)
Irwatson@charter.net ,Subject: Test, Message:, The message cannot be represented in 7-bit ASCII encoding and has been sent as a binary attachment. (Also the message in alot of the virusees.)

Any ways, I heard mac was easier to work with but i was raised on windows, and i really dont like screwing around with apples for some reason, not that i dont have anything against the two. Though i did try OS X, probably the best damn installment competing agaisnt windows.

Edit: Ok i actualy have 9, i just found the 3.

well as Sage Said, More People Use Windows Than Macs, So Its Only Logical For Hackers( If They Have Any Logic atall) to make something that affects most of the pc's in the world rather than one that targets only 5-10% of people useing Macs
