I think about getting something like this, or an R33 GTS-T... and then I'm reminded that cars need to be maintained. How annoying is it going to be to source parts like an eventual windshield, or even more basic engine and suspension pieces that wear out, for a car that was never sold in this country? A 25+ year old car is going to have all sorts of things that need freshening up. Is it worth the novelty?
Always thinking about the next build. Usually handling is the first thing that comes to mind because of my easy access to the canyons, but I forget that it's just as easy to find rougher terrain and try something different...
A little on the racey side for my liking, but I love Davrians.
I'd love a Davrian--or something very much like a Davrian--with the popup bugeye lights. Maybe fixed rear bodywork with a bubble hatch and more shapely front fenders. I don't have anything against Imp mechanicals, but I'd slot a BMW K1100 motor in the rear with a side-draft Weber DCOE, hooked to a VW-based 5-speed.
