All of those besides the Touge Factory S13, Corolla, and the 2 D1 cars belong in the questionable modifications thread.

The RE Amemiya RX-7 is borderline, but that's a Porsche wannabe, not an RX-7.

EDIT: Plus, that isn't even the original one.

Are those the "Sakura" (I can't for the life of me remember the brand or official name) wheels on that AE85? Except they are gold and not pink?

lol, no they're not mine. :) I do know someone that owns them, though. ;)

What does he have them on?

Ive seen them on a ZG (picture)before and they looked beautiful tucked under fender flares..

I believe konig just started a line of wheels very similar to the works on the corolla. Classic is coming back strong lately, I wish my Z was running.
I wish it wasnt 15 degrees outside also.

Not "just started", but I think you are talking about the Konig Rewinds, which are copies of the watanabe lineup.

Although they are 13lb for a 15x7 inch wheel, when the Watanabes are 9lb (I think) for a 15x8 wheel.

He has them in his house as a centerpiece, until he can find an old school Celica (Mid-70's) to throw them on and throw on a serious widebody kit.

DRAG Wheels is making the knock-off's of the WORK Equip 03's.

Do note the SIMULATED multi-piece design. DRAG wheels are Cast Aluminum, and are one piece. They're garbage, and they definitely look the part.

RS Watanabe's in 15x8 (only model that comes in 15x8 is the RS Watanabe R-Type, or F8F) are 15.4lbs (16.1lbs for the F8F) a piece.

And, not to mention, that Konig Rewynds and RS Watanabe Eight Spokes don't look anything like Work Equip 03's.

Here are some more...

Aah, awful....:yuck:

280 ps I think....:dunce:

👍

Extremely rare here.....
As you may notice, It's not a gt, but a gsx...

1000hp+ Oh God...:dunce: :dunce: :dunce:

Yeah yeah yeah, that's a Smart:tdown: 👍 👎 👍

Already knew that. But, do you know what the difference is between an AE85 and an AE86? 100cc's and a cam, not much else. ;)

And Fuel injection, and the transmission, and the driveshaft, and the diff, and the suspension, and the brakes.

They share the same chassis, but all the parts that move are different pretty much.

Matt got me. I meant Drag wheels, I thought they were konigs. I used to have a set of the bronze rewinds on my S130. I traded them to a buddy for some unmolested chrome JDM fender Mirrors.

Thanks for the heads up.

As for the drags: I had seen these skimming through an auto magazine and took notice that someone had drug them back up. I never took the time to look at the quality of the product. Its sad to see relics remade like crap.
Coincidently a buddy of mine came across a set of epsilon 15x8 gold mesh's at a junkyard yesterday. If i would have walked three feet to my right I would have seen them first. They cleaned up like new.

Ive also seen these:

SportMax 002's popping up on alot of the Z forums. I havent heard anything bad about them, but people just starting running them, so we'll see how that goes. Seems to be another wheel coming out that caters to the classic guys.

Sport Max's are produced in a better manner, than that of DRAG or ROTA, but they're still not of the original's quality. That's right, Sport Max makes copies.
