So...I recieved a '65 Mustang for my birthday a while back. Since it was in the middle of a restoration and had just been stripped out, I get the privelidge of putting the thing back together.

What I would like to know is, what can I do to improve the handling? I think I should do this now, before I get the Mustang put back together, so I can change things around without an engine in the way and things like that.

Where should I start? It already has a front sway bar, but that's about it. Any ideas where I should go to get good suspension parts? Also, what should I be looking for? And how much should I plan on spending?

Well, I don't really know, but you might try asking an autocrosser or enthusiast mags. like grassroots motorsports.

See this thread, I found the wrong post button and made a mistake in the post. Shouldve been post reply, but Jordan has his buttons configured just the opposite than what Im used to.
Heres the reply to your thread with links

You can find manufacturers like PST suspension.com for the best suspension components for your Mustang.
Also check JCWhitney in their suspension department for some suspension goodies.
These are just a few and if you look really closely on the internet, your sure to find some sites dedicated to the Mustang of your era.
Good luck in your search and lets see some pics of the thing.
Oh and one more thing, you may want to chronicle the work your doing on the car with pics. Its bragging rights if your doing the work and may get you more money for it when you sell it.

Thanks!

That's a lot of help, just what I was looking for.

btw, I'm not going to sell this one! :D

At least, not unless I'm using too much medication or something :P

Hopefully, I pressed the right button this time. :cheeburga
Good luck with it and hope it goes to your plans.
