Improvement on Dragon Trail

Can you maybe clarify this: Does trail breaking mean you just ease of the brake pedal when turning in, so basically slower release of brake pedal. Or would you more describe it as applying 100% in the corner, then 20% brake pressure when into the apex
It is a combination of both. You would apply 100% on the braking zone, and then have a slow release of the brake pedal as you start turning in to around 20%

I don't recommend going flat out during a race- it's too risky. I also lift during the race- 1-2/10ths a lap is smaller than 5 seconds a lap in the case of a crash after all ;)

Practiced that for an hour with a very slight lift-off and consistently improved my lap time by 8 tenths. In the race I made sure I follow the exact same line, slight lift off and off to winning the race:cheers:. Just had to move my brake balance slightly as to prevent a slight oversteer on the lift-off when the tyres got a bit worn towards the end. I've learned something, so big thanks for the advice.

Glad to have helped! :)

Thanks to the advices and especially the videos shared by GTP mates. I am able to improve my lap time from 1:46.1 to 1:45.8 to finally tonight 1:45.6xx after nearly 20 practicing laps.

Share my hot lap below and Welcome any advises.:gtpflag: Veyron with bb-1 setting.

I counted 6 laps at or below 1.46.3, good consistency, now try to extend that to 10+ laps. Looks like you are ready to take a leap, keep going 👍

Smooth is fast!

One suggestion is to get rid of that driving line as it is highly deceitful. Nice lap!
This may sound very corny but a good trick is to embed the moment of victory in your positive feedback loop. It could be anything, like clinching a fist or a loud and firm COME ON! What this does is that it trains your brain to associate the good feeling of victory (or success in general, like a good lap time) with said gesture. Its basically accretion of confidence over time and ultimately transference of inner calm and surge of dopamine from your successful training to when it actually matters, in this case, racing!
