Just realized that this race conflicts with another one I'm signed up for so I'll have to relinquish my entry

@R1600Turbo I can't make it sorry :guilty:
I really enjoyed this series... It was my first experience on this concept, really cool to simulate real life championships 👍
I hope to see a Season 2 of this! :P Now I'll only join for the Maserati Trofeo :)

3 people in the room at the moment. I will wait until :30 past the hour for anyone else, and then I'm calling it. We won't be racing with just 3 cars.

Sorry to see it end that way RT. Your series are always good but overlooked :(.

We cancelled it. Full points to Downhill Dino for being the only GS car, and I have bdubclub the win for ST since he was the only one to show.

And that's that.

Edit: Congrats to the points winners below.
  • GS Class Champion: @Giorgio_57
  • GS Class Team Champion: #41 Doran Racing Nissan 370Z
  • GS Class Manufacture: Nissan
  • ST Class Champion: ME :P
  • ST Class Team Champion: #4 LRT Racing Honda Civic Type R
  • ST Class Manufacture: Honda
Thanks to those that participated in the final rounds. This series started out fantastic with a full room and then just went downhill from there. I think the weekend we had huge connection issues put the nail in the coffin. Shame really, this series had so much potential. I've been asked if we'll do a second season, and at the moment based on participation numbers that dwindled at the end here, I will say no. When GT7 rolls around, that could be a different story. :)

For now, check out my Maserati Trofeo series (link in my signature).

Thanks guys.

Thinking about reviving this, but making the following changes:
  • No fixed teams/colors/numbers - all this completely open to driver choice
  • Replacing the stock gearbox with fully adjustable
  • Adding 2-3 additional cars for each class
If anyone is interested, let me know. :)

Well, I know I am :D

Would anyone that's good at equalizing cars be willing to help out? I could do it but we all know how well that went last time. Basically I have one car in each class where I'd like their speed to be, just need to get the rest of the cars within half a second if possible. :)

Edit: or we can make this easier and do parity style racing, minimum lap time based so we don't need specs for each car (all 20+ options)...

I'm really swamped with work and summer fun right now, but I had a lot of fun in the few racers I made it too, so I'm definitely interested.

I don't want to be that guy who signs up and only attends one or two events, so I'm hesitant to sign up right now...but I'm definitely keeping a close eye on this. I was so impressed with @R1600Turbo's organization that I'd clear space in my schedual to make these races if things take off 👍

I thought the ST specs weren't that bad tbh. I was rusty in GT so I was fastest with the familar Civic. But with gearbox tuning the Mini will be much faster, I know that from experience ;).

I had an idea when I tried to do my Maserati Trofeo series. Instead of having drop rounds to help with absences, if you can find another driver to take your place during races you cannot attend, then you don't lose out any points. I may use that idea here.

I like that idea. Having more than one driver available to drive the car. I think that's an idea worth exploring.
