Incredible videos!!!!

He he he... the Nurburgring Video is hilarious!!!

It starts and the first 5 cars just dive off to the right and into an invisible wall...

All you can see is a track stretching off into the distance with no scenery on the sides so you get a big backdrop and the car drives on the bridge of track!!

After about a mile the car we're watching just turns clean into the wall!!!

What you need to do is learn the track and pretend to drive on it with the correct accelerating, braking and steering to make it round the ring... Then put the codes in on the replay and see if it works!!

Reckon that would be one hell of a challenge?!!?

^ ra ... the vids are just a replay of all AI cars... apparently you could only view them on a replay and not actually drive them.

Oops, sorry... ^^'

i've been too happy for the idea... :P

Errm, yes, that seems more right, thanks :)
I must say, again, the streets look unbelievably real. And they will probably look even better in the end! :dopey:

Wow, sweet videos. More pls :dopey: BTW, it seems Arwin already stole the vids and put them on IGN...which is OK but you would think he would have given credit to the source?!! Guess not :grumpy:

Of course not ... in french, we call a man like that a "pique-assiette" ... 👎

The credits to them could be coming soon... it always takes about 2 days for stuff to actually appear on the IGN site... I check it daily yet stuff appears when it's 2 days old!!

I don't know...I got the email from IGN and all it said was:

"The GT4 love keeps coming. Our guy in Europe, Arwin, has pulled a rabbit out of the proverbial hat with our latest find. Along with a group of dedicated GT4-lovers van Arum has gotten us some seriously awesome movies. This is the first place you'll find these movies online but we have footage of Paris tarmac, dirt and a bit of footage from Las Vegas."

Group of dedicated GT4-lovers should be VV from GTplanet.net! Arwin = "pique-assiette" indeed 👎

Edit...(.net) for those that caught it :ouch:

Félicitations Double V! c'est vraiment impressionnant. :D 👍 Après avoir jeté un coup d'oeil à GTWeb je n'ai pas trouvé... est-ce que tu y expliques quelque part comment tu as fait la découverte ou c'est top secret? :P

Well, back to english, do you have any pictures of Yosemite or Infineon? (I've only seen mini-maps of them so far)

Hmmm... I do doubt it to be honest... I would be very surprised if Arwin has ripped someones work... and IGN themselves are talking ****e cos it blatantly isn't the first place you can get them... cos we've got them all already.

Well, I don't think Arwin wanted to rip off the vids, he actually proposed first on the french GT board to host the vids on IGN, since the site where the vids were hosted was down following the heavy use of bandwith. I agree that the credits should be given a little more clearly in the message dunkee received, but perhaps IGN don't want to advertise other game sites or forums...

I know Arwin is a good guy but it kinda bothers me the way he handled this...he could have at least posted here and asked VV if he could post it on IGN or made his own vids. Oh and Gamespot lists updates for other websites....even IGN. IGN can do it too and not claim they are the only place where you can see these vids.

Here's the link on the message I got. http://cars.ign.com/articles/525/525504p1.html?fromint=1

hey vv, on that link you provided on page 6, there is a vid that is laballed ss rialt. it looks to me like venice? any ideas?
yes, that´s venizia. although i don´t think that it´s a racetrack, it seems more likely to be photo location. i think that racing cars on water would be somewhat ridiculous :dunce:

Yes, credits should be more clear, and at least mention VV in the article. Arwin asked the question on the French board, where VV posted the vids first.

I think the person who wrote the sentence just forgot to write a "not" after "This is", that looks like a mistake.

For Venice, it's the Rialto bridge we're seeing on the replay.

I think you are right...hopefully Arwin will straighten things out later.

Yeah... we are somewhat hanging the man before letting us give him a defence... Arwin... if you're listening... you've got some questions to answer!!

I've posted XPort replay files on the web.
Everyone is free to use them to make pics or videos, it's not a problem.
I just want that the persons who use these pics or videos in a commercial way specify that the initial work was made by a french group on GTWeb.
Nothing more.
