Z Frame by TSW review, and DIY starts at 20 minute mark

Obutto Review @ 23 minute starts

More rigs to come!

The Z Frame seems like a really nice choice .. I like how you can go from 300 bucks up to 800 lets say. so its a price range for everyone.

SRT hitting an all time low... double cliff hanger on the RS not even LOST do they run with double cliff hangers :)

Cockpit doesn´t look nice but it certainly seem stable enough :)

The Z frame doesnt seem that bad, agree its not a looker, reminded me of something like a school project in its design and that seat, no thanks.
However it offers alot in its adaptability which is something thats good about it and adding more parts is possible. Liked the keyboard and mouse adapter (hello Vision Racer) that seemed to sit well above the gearshifter area.

Im starting to go off these guys tbh.
I cant speak for you guys but is it getting more about the commericals and endorsements now, advertising and promoting products they quite clearly wont go against or say something too bad about.

SRT
The whole GT5P Vs FM2 thing was a great way of getting people to talk abour SRT and get their awareness out their. It was pointless as a comparison but not pointless as a method of promoting themselves. They have used that in a clever way.

SRT TEAM
They dont seem to be getting anymore professional and is it not a bit amateur looking doing a review of a product in some living room going about on your hands/knees with no socks on? Come on guys.... White photo background, bit of professional lighting, nice close ups and detail of the products would that not be better?

Good idea for a show badly executed and more often limited in its reviews and with a review score system that isnt well thought out, well explained (like ohh i gave it 78.5)
Scores out of thin air, sometimes i wonder? They dont seem to use review scores based on previous score comparisons to other similar products and base the products against each other.

NOT SO COOL DUDES
Nice to see Jessica as nice as always maybe she can convince the ole boys to get a bit more fashion concious, what about trendier jeans?
I await the SRT racing slippers to make it into the promo products!

Yeah at first I wanted to post RS wheel review.. yet nothing.. I think they will post separate video for that..

Z frame, not prettiest one, seat.. looks like old school F1 seat, But I like how you can spend from little to a lot.. not best looking, but I like it, Sturdy design. I can't wait for more of their reviews.

Please just wear socks.

As for the RS wheel, didn't they say they wouldnt bother reviewing it as it was similar to the turbo with alcantara leather, simplified facia, plus the clubsport pedals they reviewed seperatly before?

I just got message from SRT
Hey Nox.. We'd love to review it as well, but are waiting for our final version of the pedals and as well as the driver.

So I guess we have to wait for Final driver and they will receive the final version of the Clubsport, so before it was only a preview.. But I am sure 100% they will say its still best buck for the bang for the Clubsport and the wheel.

I don´t really agree on much of your rant Latte.

That they are amateurs what´s wrong with that? It´s not like get rich on the show and can afford hiring lighting specialists or that they have years of media training. Commercials which you can even skip and promo gear to get people to donate to the show is not really that offensive and doesn´t make me feel they are bought more then any other reviewer.
If you look of how it was when it started and the format they go now you will see that it has improved a lot. They pretty much started in a garage.
No Jessica in the beginning either so you do get more fashion then in the beginning.

Of course it´s natural to be sceptical but I have never caught them lying. Been really fair so far with the products that I have experience with just about always spot on. That includes the Forza 2 and GT 5P comparison... I don´t think that it´s "useless" at all. Of course you can say every review regarding physics or whatever is useless since it´s subjective. But how many elitistic PC simracers is there that wouldn´t even consider console arcade racers? There is very very few in my sim communitys that own a 360 or a PS 3. Now I do preferr sim racing overall due to several other reasons then just physics but especially Forza 2 is a great racing sim.

Now I did fast forward hunting for the RS preview so I didn´t caught the off sock part lol. May agree on that one lol

It wasnt so much a rant, its my opinion.
Youve expressed yours, we dont have to agree.

Its nice to see the products they show but sorry i dont find their reviews that inspiring. They are a likable bunch and the vids are fun, i dont hate what they do just wish it was better before it went too commericial.

Regards professionalisim, if it was better done again my opinion here but it do even more for their cred and im sure sales on their website.

Good episode overall. I actually prefer how they do the show now. It used to be so disjointed, and quite short. They have more time to review items, and for the most part they are reviewing things I am very interested in.

That Z-Frame looks the business. Although, like others have said, that seat is rediculous. Probably not terribly difficult to attach another seat, though.

I am looking forward to the Obutto Ozone review, as that is the cockpit I use. Should be interesting to see what they think of it. The seat is way better than the Z-Frame that's for sure. Although, the Z-Frame is way more adjustable.

;)

In my opinion our society is becoming more and more confused around what it values, it's like at times it's more important to be seen to do, rather than to do, with some individuals happy to talk up what they do when in reallity they don't do much!

Similarly, it appears that we've all got to be terribly professional all the time, if that's true I think it will stifle innovation. No one will come out and perform anything until it's at a virtuoso level for fear of being attacked by the ranks of self indulgent opinionated viewers, this attitude also stifles on line gaming, some folks are just to intimidated by the expectations of others and there reactions when they cant deliver that they choose not to compete... and that's a shame.

Who else is delivering what the SRT team do today at that price point (free)?

Whilst the show probarbly wont win an oscar for production. it still manages to get the information over in an engageing way, and has come a long way since the first broadcasts. The team aren't afraid to try things, sometimes they will work other times not. just like in some episodes theres more to interest me than other episodes. such is the variety and diversity of our sport.

Is it becoming more commercial? the pressure to produce a regular show as long and informative as this is demanding, so finding a way to fund it is O.K. by me, provided they can keep there integrity and honesty in the review.
Are any of the printed game review guides any better?

ultimately if it gets to the point of too many adverts and a lack of relevant content, I have the ultimate sanction, I don't have to watch it!

It's easy to find negative things in life, but if we continually focus on the negative, we miss so much that is positive.

more and more i see too much negativity in some of the forum posts, not just here ( this may be an age thing :) ). For me life's to short for all this negativity, I accept things for what they are or contribute to make them better by doing something or adding value in some way.

Whilst constructive criticism and suggestions can help to improve the situation. criticism on it's own, only leads to negativity...

I think it's good we share our opinions on whats good and bad, but lets strike a balance rather than just be critical. It's easy to find fault not all of us are perfect :)

sorry for the rant.....who said you cant please all the people all the time!
