Inside the car photo glitch?

I noticed the other day that the Huarya's display read it was doing over a 1000 mph, so the G reading is consistent with the speed being wrong, too.

Yup your right, i cant believe i didnt notice that earlier. 1024 km/h @ 1.6g's. Even though the RPM gauge is near 1k, and the KMH gauge is at 0. So is it really a photomode glitch, or a modded game? Hard to tell now.

Now that i look at the photos again, the trip mileage on the car reads at 000.3. Now im not sure if the trip mileage restarts every time you start a new track, but if it does then according to the car he is only .3 kilometers into a track.

I'm going to say it's first corner of Nurb GP, especially if ImaRobot's theory about the trip meter is correct. The barriers and camber seen in the last photo also match the GP course. It'd be alot easier if he'd just come out and say how to do it though :irked:

So i just fired up my game and jumped in my Pagani and it turns out that the dash always says 1024kmh and 1.6gs but i dunno why it says that.

Catalunya has a 21.1C track temp and there is a yellow fence within 0.3 kilometers from the start of the track, but i still cant figure it out.

So i didnt give up as easily as i intended. I went through every single track finding the few that had the exact same 21.1C track temp(i found Catalunya, Positano, and Silverstone each had the same temp.)

After i found those tracks i then went to go on and see if one of those tracks had a yellow barrier/fence within 000.3 kilometers of it. Both Catalunya and Silverstone had the described fence within the distance i was looking for. I couldnt find anything to work with on Catalunya, but Silverstone on the other hand had some odd tires that i could fall deep into for some reason(the tires are located at the very left corner of the track if you just go straight till you reach the walls.) So i brought my car close next to both the barrier and the tires, but also tried to keep the barrier on the right of my car like he has it in that first nissan photo. I took photos so i can show exactly how i was positioned

So after i got into position i put my car in first gear, held the clutch(dunno if you have to do this really but i did.)

Now what i did in photomode is, get to the edge of the tires and zoomed in a good amount(now im not really sure if you have to zoom in or not but it seemed to work better.) and moved forward while simultaneously holding the left trigger. That should smash you into the space inbetween the car and the wall, and from there i moved the camera forward and it just popped into the interior of the car. It gets tricky right here though because even though i was pressing forward on the left joystick it wouldnt go in the right direction so i had to just use whatever direction would move it forward.

Its trial and error, but i got it to work.

I could care less if T10 patchs this or not, because honestly id rather the whole community know about it then only one person using it for themselves.

ImaRobot..Thanks for posting this..you're a legend!! I've been trying to find this all night with no luck (I worked out the catch fencing was Silverstone but that was as far as I got). However, even with your guide I still can't get it..I even managed to glitch the camera under the map once but that's it. I can get the camera to stick in the place between the tyres and the car but it won't go inside the car no matter how hard I try :irked: What version of the track is it? What part of the car were you aiming the camera at when it went in? Any other tips? I'm even using the same car.

*ETA* I finally got inside the Huayra..here's how. I worked out how to regularly glitch the camera out of the map by holding left on the left analogue stick while in the gap between the car and tyre wall. I was at ground level, zoomed in around 4.0 - 5.0 and facing the yellow Agip sign. The camera was glitching through the Agip sign so I turned 90degrees to the left and did the same thing (hold left stick to the left) and after a couple of tries the camera glitched inside the car. Hope this helps anyone struggling. Going to try a different car now.

OK done a bit more testing..cluth is NOT needed, I did it using manual no clutch. Works on all versions of this track and with multiple cars. Its easier to get into the gap between the car and tyre wall if you zoom in a little and look at the floor. Thanks again ImaRobot, would never have found this without you.
(BTW how did anyone find this in the first place??!!)

some sayed this has been around since fm3 :odd:

:nervous: I can't do it, could anyone post a shot of how close I have to be to the yellow wall?

EDIT: somebody willing to record this? I tryd with an aventador but It didn't work, gonna try with the huayra now

Flo..I was at a slight angle to the yellow wall with the right rear of the car touching the Agip sign somewhere around the letter 'g' on Agip. The gap to the white tyre wall behind seems to be more important, I have to keep adjusting it for different cars. The first pic ImaRobot posted is a very good marker. It's not an easy glitch (at least not the way I'm doing it!) but you'll get it, just be patient..it takes alot of fiddling with the left analogue stick once you're behind the car.

Thanks, But For the heck of it I can't get it to work, getting nervous now. will try again later, but this is just driving me insane.
I was able to glitch out of the track but I just couldn't get anywhere near getting inside the car.

Kudos to ImaRobot for his Columbo like detection skills (OK, Holmesian skills since Columbo did very little actual detection work).

Do the dimensions of the car (ie length) have any bearing on whether you can hit the dashboard sweet spot? Hopefully not.

I don't think so, as long as your the back of a car is placed right.....

EDIT I GOT IN

I used it with multiple cars last night, some took longer then others but they all worked. All i do is smash the right side of the car up against the agip sign and get a good amount from the tires and its all good.

Surprisingly this took about 30-45 minutes to find. Thanks everyone :) Nevermind, fadam doesnt seem to mad anymore.

If anyone cares to write up a better one go for it, i wrote that at about 12ish before i went to bed without re-reading it so i don't know how well you guys understood it haha. If not, Flo you should edit it into the first post so that when people come here it can be easily found.

Nice one Flo! I'm getting it pretty much first time every time now. =)
You can turn the wheel or rev the engine and it will work.
I've also found that you can place the car the other way around, or even sideways and it will still work. It actually helps get rid of some of the sun glare on the dash and wheel..

Stiggy wiggs!!

+1 for the poor quality though.

Yeah, you gotta figure though, you were never intended to get on the inside of the cockpit. With editing or with some nice settings though, you can get some pretty good interior shots out of it.

If i would have found this out a week ago, the last pmc would have ended up so differently haha.

main reason why I was so curious about this.

@ spirit, Nice find! I now got the hang of this too, just when the camera goes to the left there's a tiny spot where it gets in the car, from there you can move around freely :D
