Hey, Im In Need Of Help.

I Wanted To Know If ANyone Here Could Help Me Install PhP Verison 5.0beta3 useing apache 2.0. ive looked at the guide at php.net and some others but i always get an error when starting apache 2 after i follow the tutorials.

so will someone please help me do this? i really need to know how so i can teach my self php, and know how to use it successesfully

what do you mean? im just running this off my pc, so it can essentialy run anything, i just need to get this to install so i can test scricpts and whatnot

I have not successfully installed it on Windows XP Pro on two different computers. SP1 is required, but other than that, I have supplied all the files needed. You have to be signed in to download the files, but they are there.

thanks, but after hours of trying to get it to work, i pinpointed the problem to a prblem in apaches http.conf fie,l the tutorials were telling me to typining in some odd load module code that wouldnt work, so just by some off chance i typed in "LoadModule php5_module h:/www/php/php.exe" and it works now.

now i just need to get mysql installed,
