Interesting GT Sport versus Sebring 12 hours

People moaning about lack of cars got me thinking about what the actual cars were in a real race. I thought I would take a look at the real life Sebring 12 hours one of the great classics of GT/Prototype racing.
Well the 2017 edition had the following GT cars:
Corvette C7R
Ford GT
Ferrari 488GTE
BMW M6 GTLM
Porsche 911 RSR
Porsche 911 GT3
Honda (Acura) NSX
Mercedes AMG GT3
Lamboghini Hurrican GT3
Lexus RCF GT3
Audi R8 GT3
and that is it for GT cars.
Seems to me that GT Sport has pretty much nailed the grid with its cars. Clearly the Ford GT is missing and the Ferrari is the earlier 458 but not a bad representation of the real life grid. Clearly there are a lot of holes in the prototype section but not bad at all for GT.

Not exactly true (compared car list) but you make a good point in general.
Ferrari 488 and Ford GT are not in the game or any kind of prototype.Some cars are GTE,others are GT3-we get the GT3 version in the game (if I am not mistaken they model the GT3 category).
You also forgot to mention that:
The Acura NSX (GT3) (we get that in the game as an Honda NSX GR3 -its the same car-).
Add Audi R8 (GT3) to that list also.
So zero prototypes but a lot of PD "versions" of GT3 cars (GR3).
In general the GT3 -GR3- car list in the game is really good (even though as I am a Ferrari fan,it really hurts not to have 488 in the game).
Just add Audi R8,Honda NXS GT3 in there.As far as prototypes goes,well there are all missing.
