Interlagos is Coming to Gran Turismo Sport

Thank you very much! @SlipZtrEm to put this on GTP homepage. I appreciate it  :gtpflag:

Thank you for finding this! :D 👍

I find it funny that we live in the day and age where games aren't even out yet and developers are already planning DLC. Interlagos better be coming to Project CARS 2 as free DLC, or I'm not buying that pack and I'm sticking to GT Sport for my interlagos needs.

Thank you for the excellent example of spectacularly missing the point!

Or ripping people off.
You're right. All game development should stop on the day of release and/or everything completed after release should be completely free. People who work for the dev should volunteer all their time as well. Of course the heat and hydro should be donated to help fund the cause. Carry on.

I don't like it when companies purposefully hold out on content that could very well be with the game day one. Having day one DLC's or holding out on content might give companies more money but it taints their image and reputation. If you think different , that's cool. 👍

Also i think i misinterpreted what was being said , so nevermind.

I think they're in favor of the more honest form of creating and releasing DLC. Content that was probably started, then finished after the release of the game.

And as others have already mentioned, in the case of PCARS2, the agreement to even include the track was only just arrived at two months ago. If the track isn't going to be complete by the time the game has to go gold, should the developer then have to release it for free?

The fun part about the "it should've been in the game from day one" argument is that it tends to just be an assumption: the people saying as much don't actually know if the content was completely ready to go for launch or not.

Of course, on the actual subject, it certainly appears that Interlagos is complete in GT Sport. Or at least, complete enough for a photo mode grab...

That's another thing. I gladly pay for DLC if it's reasonable , in price , quality and ethic.

If the track isn't complete , it's fine.

But i just don't like when companies hold off on content that could be released with the original game, this apparently isn't the case.

The point i was trying to make was this , no need for people to get all snarky for no reason , and to assume i think game developers shouldn't earn money from their hard work , that's ridiculous.

You're welcome! 👍 Kinda surprised when searching in Twitter and then I accidentally found this. I immediately recognized that ingame screenshot with green and yellow curbs is something that I have never seen before in GTS. It doesn't look like Dragon Trail or BMB at all from the layout as well. I quite hyped right now and waiting for further updates :D

Wait, who's handling the license like that? Thought this already was available to everyone, unless this is a Joke/reference to Porsche?
Every track has its own rules but most you have to pay to put in your game.

Interlagos is a fantastic and challenging technical circuit. Delighted to see it finally come to Gran Turismo. I don't know whether I get to try it or not though as the Beta has killed a lot of my interest in GTS. It will come down to when PCars2 is released.

Regardless of that it is great news for the franchise.

P Cars 2 will have many more tracks and ribbons at release compared to GTS. Just sayin...

Very happy to see another real world location announced. Interlagos is a great track and I can't wait to get racing on it in both GTS and P Cars 2.

If you're not planning DLC before the game is out then you won't be ready to release any DLC until half a year or maybe even a year after release, and at that point you're too late.

With only another 9 locations to add that makes for pretty depressing reading. I hope they have a big post release track DLC schedule planned.

Let's say,

Real:
Daytona
Suzuka
Monza
Silverstone

Original:
(Insert original road course)
(Insert original road course)

City:
City course

Rally:
(Insert original rally course)

One would hope so. Then again, nothing is promised.
