Invisible car in GT-R one-make event?

Hi. I'm new to this board. Recently I found a copy of GT2, and I said, "let's play it, again". After getting licenses and cars, I wanted money, so I raced the Nissan GT-R one make event with my almost-stock [R]Nismo 400R. The track was Rome Short. I see the starting grid, and then BAM! there's an invisible car! I won the race, and in the replay, the game said that the car was a [R]Skyline GT-R(KPGC10) '71. I want to buy this car so I can RM-it and see if it turns invisible. Any recommendations?
BTW, this board is cool, but a little empty, no?

I'd guess your disk is flakey, and the body data for that car is not loading properly.

There aren't many people playing [size=+1]GT[/size] these days, let alone [size=+1]GT2[/size].

Wow that's crazy. I never heard that one...are you doing any GameShark stuff with your game, or is it just a straight game without external hardware possibly mucking things up?

'71 Nissan Skyline GTR can be found in the Nissan/Datsun used car lot. Be warned: this car is rare. It might take awhile before you see it, so keep looking and snag it when you find it. It won't turn invisible...at least I've never had that (or any other) car turn invisible!

Thanks for the responses. I am playing it with an .ISO image and ePSXe emulator, so no Gameshark. I did the race again and the car just appears right, so I think that the problem was from the graphics card. Again, thanks for the responses.
