Hit the Print Screen button on your computer. Usually on the right side of the keyboard. Then, open up Microsoft Paint and paste it to there.

My print screen key on my laptop is also the insert key with the insert being lit up and the prt sc underneath
 
Okay got it figured out. I've got 2 schemes so far that I've made. Here's one

Another trick for getting the best quality shot is turning off the in game compression in the renderer so everything looks like how it exactly is on the template, wont have any grey blocks or anything. But obviously after your done taking shots you want to turn it back on.

I was painting my car but ran into a problem. Is there a way to just cut off the logo from an image from Google images rather than the whole image being rectangle? I wanted a logo on the back right quarter panel and had like a design on the car going through that also. But when I place the logo it completely covers it up. Is there a way to cut out just the logo? I'm using GIMP. And this is hard to explain I may post a picture.

You can use the paths tool or the free select tool to outline the logo, and thepn copy from selected to get rid of the outline

If you arent aure how those work, there are a couple of guys on the iracing forums who have done painting tutorials, I highly recommend checking them out.

Been a while since I've posted here, here's some of mine from the past 6 months, I did the RUFs a long time ago but never posted them here.
I did the Indycar yesterday (based on Buddy Lazier's livery from the 2013 Indy 500 - I was there for that race for my first time ever and he barely managed to keep up with everyone in that car. So I felt it was appropriate seeing as I've not even touched an Indy Oval race yet and I suspect I'll be off the pace whenever I do).

I like the response tap RUF livery a lot! Is it based off of a real livery or just something that you made up?
 
Thanks! Its a design I made up but I based it a little on the top one. You're the first to prefer that one! Most people I asked preferred the top or bottom ones. I think the rainbow effect isn't a good look for most people. But I quite like it.

Just saw this thread randomly so thought I'd share a couple of pics I knew I had laying about. They're both quite old but both were created 'from scratch', as it were. Obviously, inspiration for the Calsonic was taken from its GT500 GT-R counterpart.

I decided to update my Corvette to 2048x2048 and I added a Mathew Nethercote metallic layer. Based on the 1970 L88 corvette that appeared in Steve McQueen's "Le Mans."
