Thanks, but I got even more lucky.

First, I asked support for a code and they sent me one for 3 months for 1: PR-LAPSEDEMAIL31715

Then, 10 minutes ago I received a mail from iRacing, telling me that I won't be able to pay with UltimatePay anymore (I used it a couple times a few years ago), and they gave me a code to buy 2 years for USD89, it said the code was unique to my e-mail, so no use in posting it, but if someone has also used UP, check your inbox.

I would always just go with the 1yr for $49.50 as a new member. These short term deals (3 months for $6) might sound good but if you like it and want to extend your subscription you will be left paying full price which is $99 for 1yr.
