I think the bottom line about Iron Maiden is that they are rockin'. High pitched voice or not. I think they're awesome. Hallowed Be Thy Name is one of my favorites. I just love that riff.

It is one of the best bands I've heard.
My Favorites?:
1. Slayer
2. Motley Crue
3. Iron Maiden
4. Cannibal Corpse
5. Slipknot
That's some nice diversity there. Reminds me of myself.

Anyways, I love Iron Maiden. Especially Number of The Beast. 👍

When did I post that list? Oh yeah, on Jul 27 [my sec. post on this thread]. Anyways that was back then when I still was alot into thrash metal. I still like thrash today, but I'm now also into hair metal. But now I prefer Death Metal over every other type (Especially Morbid Angel, my current fav. band).

Number of the Beast kicks ass, I wish I had it, (I haven't bought it yet). I do listen to Maiden a lot, but not as often as I did.

In Finnland we call Iron maidens music "kikkeli hevi" I think that it tells you a lot about it...

In english "kikkeli hevi" would be like ****/dick heavy

I think they have 2 good songs...2 Minutes to Midnight and Number of the Beast.

They're both in video games, and that's how I liked those songs.

........
2 Minutes to Midnight= Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (V-ROCK)
The Number of The Beast= Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4

My top 5 Maiden songs:

- Wasted Years
- Run To The Hills
- The Number of The Beast
- Hallowed Be Thy Name
- Fear Of The Dark

Iron Maiden it's just my favorite band of all time :)

My top:
1- Iron Maiden
2- Dio
3- Megadeth
4- Ozzy, Manowar, Running Wild

When you buy an Iron Maiden album/CD you get not only great Metal but also coooool artwork, like this one...

I went to school with Nicko McBrain's son and he was a bit of a wally - He's called Nick (imaginatively enough) He was younger than us so it was ok to give him some stick.

Anybody still like them today?

I do, I have Killers, Piece of Mind, Fear of the dark, Ed Hunter, and Rock in Rio (DVD).
Iron Maiden

I searched all 18 pages, and I didn't find anything similar.

Don't listen to them to much 'nowdays' but back in the day it was playing almost daily! Steve Harris is definately one of my biggest influences as far as bass players go.

Couldn't get into the new stuff so much, I'm more of the Killers, Number, Maiden Japan, Piece of Mind, Powerslave era. Although, Somewhere in Time helps transition me from Maiden to Pink Floyd.

Anyways, yeah...... Maiden Rocks!!!
